| Game contest would be nice I think. At this point,
the character contests are going to get bland. All the big characters
have won before. Pretty soon it's going to get down to mid-carder
characters winning the thing, and that doesn't sound like a lot of fun

And even then, he'd like it more if he was right! Anyway, there's no way I'd take CT over LoZ:LttP (I didn't even do that in 2k4, though I figured it'd be close.....). I'd also be tore up about a FF7/LoZ:OoT rematch, but I'd probably take LoZ:OoT for the upset. As far as FFVII/OOT goes, Link has only boosted his performance on
Cloud by about 2% since 2004, from 51.82% that year to 53.93% on the
eve of the Twilight Princess launch.......his biggest jump relative to
Cloud came between the 2003 and 2004 contests. If OOT's boost relative

| Have it face a really old Nintendo game,
too...like Wii Sports/Donkey Kong or Wii Sports/Metroid (depending on
how strong you'd think Wii Sports is). I'd like to see the huge
contrast between a Nintendo pack-in game with remote sensitivity from
this generation holds up against Nintendo games we consider classics
from the NES yet aren't terribly strong (and yes, I'm considering SFF

Wii Sports/Duck Hunt sure would be interesting. Or, Wii Sports/FF7. I wonder how well Wii Sports would do THERE? I had a dream last night CJayC made a topic in the Rad Action Pack board, but it was like...off-topic. Everyone was then all... "OMG CJayC is listening to us!" and such. You may think it's a worthless dream, but I also lost my TI-83 calculator for months. I dreamt last night that I found it. I found the calculator today, and I didn't even TRY to find it... =P --- "Ah, a party! We haven't had one of those. It could be fun! So...what is a party?" Ha...occasionally when we have alot of good ideas on the board
(especially if a contest is supposed to be nearby), I'll send CJay a
feedback ticket encouraging him to skim over the Rad Action Pack board
since it's got some contest-fanatics focusing on what matches could be
great. He's never said anything back in the tickets and he's obviously
not ever posted anything on the board, and who knows if he takes notice
of anything there if he even goes... ...but I have hope! I remember Luigi/Zero being discussed last year when I sent a ticket, and i think Zelda facing Aeris was too (not sure on that one though; it was either her or Tifa)...ha, and neither of those ended up too close, but they were certainly debated alot on the board! Well, maybe. I would expect a slight boost, but nothing too major due to RE4 being out on both the GC and PS2 already. Pokemon is doing very well too, keeping close with Final Fantasy. Probably so...but I was thinkin' more like how RE4 is going to be a
****ing beast in the next game contest. Remember how well RE4 did on
the Top 100 List before it was ported on the PS2? #14, right behind
Super Mario 64 (which had an upgraded port at launch for the DS for
like a year before). Then how it decimated GoW and MKDS less than three
months after the PS2 version? Percentage-wise, I don't think there's
ever been such a unanimous GotY here before. RE4WE was already the most
anticipated Japan release last month and is going to to be the most
anticipated game for America this month, too...although the other games
aren't exactly of the highest caliber. Just saying, Leon will probably gain some...but it's not Leon that's going to appear as a powerhouse the next contest we see him. RE4 has a shot at being a Top Ten game when we see it in action. --- This is my main account, but I see all the cool people doing it...... HaRRicH |

It would sadden me to see it beat MGS/GTA:SA/Goldeneye for that title,

It's not like Leon isn't pretty strong already. 45% on Bowser is pretty
good, even if the Koopa King looked less beastly last year. This'll
only help. I might even pick it up, so we might have a small Leon
Kennedy boost already! Basically though, RE4 Wii just guarantees that
he'll be in this year's Character Battle. Doesn't really guarantee much
else. And yeah, I'd like to see what RE4 could do in a Games Contest. Strongest non-Square/non-Nintendo game on the site? If it could beat out the likes of MGS, GoldenEye, StarCraft, and Halo, then... What does it get on each of the Super Seven?
