Hey, I didn't say high midcarder... but
Midna is definitely a midcarder. Don't underestimate the scope of TP.
Not only is it the next big Zelda game, but it was the next big Zelda
game that was a LAUNCH title on a major Nintendo console, so its
visibility was pretty high. Not to mention the GC Twilight Princess
fanbase. I don't think she'd beat Tidus though, since Square has made a resurgence since his beating by Kirby. But I could see Midna most likely nabbing 45% or more on him. Tidus definitely isn't blowing her out. would CERTAINLY take Midna over, and the strongest character you would

heh, I actually see Midna as being about what we thought the midcarder
line was back when, Luigi 2k4-ish. 25% or so. could she beat DK? yeah,
just because it's Zelda. could she beat Tidus? I wouldn't wager on it,
but it's certainly a possibility. from what I've seen of TP, Midna is
an actual character that's always around and isn't painfully annoying

What transience said. I see Midna being around that 24% range...
although our standards have been kinda jacked so I tried to avoid using
numbers. Midna would probably beat DK, but it probably would involve
using a bit of SFF. I don't think DK would beat Tidus. Remember, DK is
the same guy that Vivi 55-45'd. As I said before, Midna would easily beat the KOS-MOS's of the world. Hayabusa, Vercetti, Kefka... The DK/Master Chief line would be what I would use as her ceiling. You know what would liven up this topic? Voting in the NCAA Character Contest! ...Okay, maybe I'm just desperate for votes. Anyway, Midna beating DK would be a strange sight, to say the least, even knowing DK's history and tendencies. Well like I said, Midna would easily beat KOS-MOS. That puts her within
striking distance of DK. How the SFF would swing in that match is

I'd take DK just out of refusal to believe Midna > DK. I could deal
with Midna beating DK if I picked DK, but if I took Midna and DK won,

Well, KOS-MOS just had a brand new, well recieved game to help her
there. Xenosaga's done, and KOS-MOS is just going to get weaker from
here out. I wouldn't be shocked if she didn't even make the bracket

scraped without even a mention of it... it's been a long ass time since
the nominations went down without any word for it, let alone since it

When CJayC looked at what was nominated, the resulting bracket either
turned out to be imbalanced in terms of the games, or maybe a huge
majority of the resulting qualifiers had obscure quotes. Maybe match
pictures was an issue, since... how would they be made? Maybe you could
do in-game screenshots of the quote in Round 1, but... what would you
do for later rounds? Or maybe the length of the quotes would make
presenting the contest a bit... cluttered. Anyway, there's plenty of good reasons why the contest was (most likely) scrapped. I guess CJayC forgot to think ahead. --- "Ah, a party! *unlurks* For some reason I have a hard time seeing CjayC downright scraping the contest without at least making a post on the board. It has to be ridiculously tough tallying the noms, if people can't properly spell character names, full sentences must be pretty awful... I wouldn't mind CJay scrapping the Quote Contest as a bracket, but I
still want to see some kind of result from it. Even if it's just a Top
Ten List (more ammo, dee-lish...ha), I wanna know what was nominated

Wow its been a while since i found myself on this board. But with the
Wii message board reaching an all time low I guess its time to make a
new home... As for a female villian contest who would be in it? I mean seriously i don't think they could make a 16 bracket of female villians. Let alone a legitimate one. As for the quote contest I dunno i guess a contest would spice things up but I hate to imagine what got nominations enough to make a bracket. I mean people can hardly manage a character contest with very clear instructions can you imagine the results of this? So what does the consensus want for the Spring contest this year? I would like to see a villians update, who knows maybe a female or two could make that with a few rallies. I did promise not to repost anything, but I will say that you shouldn't
hope for the quote contest getting scrapped outright. This is just a
really busy period for anyone in the gaming business, what with it
being E3 season and all. And yeah I know E3 doesn't exist, but a small
