I can only pray that Mewtwo is put up against someone he cannot win.
Another year of Pokelove is something I cannot stand! It'll make me

The sad thing is that Mewtwo, Nightmare, and Akuma are the only worthwhile people left in the main rally bracket >_> Uh, yeah, Balthier would smash all of them. Balthier's not noteworthy because he's a lock to get into the next
bracket without rallying. you don't need to rally for new Final Fantasy

background? Then we could save the TP pic for the years where hype from

I think SMB3's capable of taking on CT these days; the biggest
recipient of "The Boost" has been the Mario gang ((outside of SSBM)...

People seem to be overestimating what the VC will do for games...I
don't think it'll make many games much stronger at all, and even the
effect on extreme cases like CT shoudn't do overly much... --- *kills self* Commit it to memory. |

I'll go one further - FFX beats Wind Waker in 2004! CT will be helped more than others because the game is so hard to find. I can't think of a game that would get more support on the VC than CT. that said, it's not going to do anything wild. it'll be like FF6A, just keeping it from slowly slipping. --- xyzzy "Theo is well again." - FFDragon |

Now, part of this is because the rallying fell apart against the juggernaut that is SMB
(which is exactly why SC doesn't stand a chance against Melee anymore),
but it's simply not that strong without rallying. You think SC can take
down something like MGS2 if we put it on the front page tomorrow, no

that's how I feel too. GTA is not as weak as WC made it, it just didn't
have the same power against SMB because they knew it was so screwed.
it's just like how SC's strength changed with every match depending on

Saying FFX beats Wind Waker in 2k4 isn't saying very much. We're
talking about one of the LESS popular Zelda games that has plenty of known
detractors due to "Celda" and the sailing. Hell, I'm one of the biggest
WW fans in this topic and even I didn't have much expectations for it.
I had it losing to Metroid Prime. I'll be the first to tell you that WW isn't the pinnacle of popularity. And coming from another point of view, it has been shown that Starcraft didn't need as many votes to take down WW as it did to take down Halo and keep competitive with SSBM. it has been shown that Starcraft didn't need as many votes to take down WW as it did to take down Halo Poll position. The typical argument made for Starcraft not cheating (significantly) against WW is that it didn't get many more votes than it did against Kingdom Hearts...which, if you follow the stats close enough pretty obviously doesn't take a lot of sense... --- *kills self* Commit it to memory. |

Starcraft's voting patterns were actually the LEAST stable out of all
its matches in Starcraft vs. Zelda: WW, so I can't deny the good
possibility that Zelda: WW was the strongest in Division 128 back at
