Is the Power Hour still in effect with no contest? First: Wii - 55.74% 360 - 29.32% PS3 - 14.94% Middle: 360 - 46.32% Wii - 33.43% PS3 - 20.25% Last: PS3 - 64.81% 360 - 24.36% Wii - 10.83% Consider the situation right after the launch of the XBox and GameCube: http://www.gamefaqs.com/poll/index.html?poll=730 First: PS2 - 55.14% GCN - 33.74% XBOX - 11.12% The PS3 not only has almost no favourite support, it's downright reviled, with nearly two thirds of the site calling it the worst system (this from a site that still harbours strong feelings towards Microsoft - remember Sub-Zero/Master Chief?). And not only does the Wii have a majority, not just a plurality, of favourite votes, it's almost universally liked, with only ten percent ranking it last. If this is just the Power Hour (and I haven't been keeping up with poll trends since the contest stopped), it's somewhat less impressive, but, still. (this from a site that still harbours strong feelings towards Microsoft - remember Sub-Zero/Master Chief?) Eh, I really think Xbox hate on this site is dying down, with the PS3 helping it out a lot. Sub-Zero/Master Chief doesn't mean anything against Microsoft and Xbox as a whole. Because Master Chief has a core group of fans, performances like he had against Crono make people think he really IS that strong. Take a step back and he's about where he SHOULD be in popularity. He really doesn't do anything to deserve being an elite or near-elite character besides be overly hyped. Looking at how other characters who SHOULD be popular end up as low midcarders, or even fodder... Chief does fairly well for himself, especially with him being one of the strongest "new" characters. I mean, imagine how strong he would be if Xbox had as broad a fanbase as Nintendo or Sony. As for Xbox hate, like I said before... PS3 is probably helping it die down a bit. People are realizing that it's the GAMES that make systems... not the companies. As the Xbox 360 snags more games that people want away from the PS3, people will naturally begin to like the 360, especially with the PS3 not being the best thing since sliced bread as Sony would have you believe. If the Xbox 360 would get Final Fantasy XIII, Devil May Cry 4, and Metal Gear Solid 4, I'd guarantee that the "hate" would drastically die down outside of fiercely loyal Sony fanboys... --- Currently playing: Resident Evil 4, Twilight Princess (GC), Castlevania PoR, Yoshi's Island DS |

OMG that van is so kawaii. On a more serious note, I just got LoZ:TP yesterday, and I beat the first dungeon.... yet I'm horribly unimpressed, then again I've been horribly unimpressed with all Zelda games, MM being the best of them. I find it just as interesting that there were only eleven eligible brackets in the Top Fifty. I'm not surprised in the least.
