A 128 Character Contest I would love to see Seifer,Laguna,Sagat,Akuma,some of the suikoden and Grandia cast,Metaknight,Meryl but the only bad thing is that most of them are just fodders and will make the contest incredibly boring. --- I am a Singaporean and hope Snake will do well for the rest of the contest. |

Why is it that no one wants a non game characters contest? It would actually be something new for a change. I'd love that to happen. I wanted it since these contest got boring. Matches I'd like to see: Link vs. Darth Vader Link vs. Goku Link vs. James Bond Actually it should include characters that appeared in videogames but didn't originated in them. --- Most wanted game: LoZ: TP |

I think it'd be fun to have pools of characters to see who gets in,
letteing everybody see their favorite fodder in at least one match but
getting a ton of them out of the way in one quick match. After that the
winners get into a bracket with the BR chracters. Makes for an interesting build-up, and makes the main bracket the strongest it can be (or relatively so). Yeah. That should also give the new consoles a year to pump out some
new characters for the character contest. It would also improve a
little bit the strength of characters who are up there but not likely
to win with the Nintendo Trio and FF7 duo around. You know, Snake and

That's just the effect of the incredible Nintendo Power Hour. And
Vincent actually gained percentage from here to the end on Saturday
against Ganon, without such a massive shift from the NPH to the rest of
the match, so Cloud may gain more than Vincent. He might get to 47%, if

And Link is incredible. Cloud gets Kingdom Hearts 2, Advent Children,
Final Fantasy XII, Dirge of Cerberus, and the Playstation 3 launch, and
Link beats him worse? I doubt any Nintendo character can even escape
the doubling by Link in a direct match anymore, and among all other
characters, probably only Cloud, Sephiroth, Crono, and Snake can get a
third of the vote. I expect Sonic would get SFF'd like Megaman did in a

Holy ****, Link is unstoppable. And these votals are insane. We'll have 80,000 by the halfway point o_O Anyway, with ZeldaFAQs bigger than it's ever been, our X-stats might have three of the top four games be Zelda games next year. This topic is deathly quiet. I guess
because of it being a letdown after Snake's legendary contest run. I
haven't been paying much attention to this contest since Snake/Sonic,
but I'll be damned if I don't make SOME comment about this match. Link
beating Cloud worse AFTER the American AC release and KH2? I'm done
trying to make sense out of this contest.... But yeah, even though I
like Cloud a lot, I still have to gloat over Link beating his ass by
more, no matter how bad it is for the contest. I'm just glad this contest proved that hype CAN play a factor. Thank you Solid Snake. This has been a great contest for me, personally. Boss turning a (Why
I'll never know) debated match into a 61-39 blowout, Lara proving
herself, Sonic beating Crono, Snake beating FF7 characters...Yeah, big
