Snake already had 400 leads ahead of Sephiroth. Sephiroth of making a comeback will be slim. Konami VS Nintendo VS Square tomorrow ftw. --- I am a Singaporean and hope Snake will do well for the rest of the contest. |

It really would be any better as Squarefaqs either...and its freaking
ridiculous how many FF characters make it in...No Ninty series even

I think Seph is done, yeah. I like Snake and all, but it's sad that

sad. Define "real strength." I'd say Cloud has it. I can see where one might say that Seph's strength isn't "real" in that he's leeching Cloud's fanbase, but he's still very strong. --- Thank you, Eddie Guerrero. |

Uhh...If you're implying that the only reason Snake is beating
Sephiroth is because of the SSBB trailer, you're crazy. Do you really
think Link wouldn't take almost all of that away since, you know, the

been stupid, just especially now. Samus and Mario both went out in the
first two rounds, and there is only 1 Nintendo character left as

in the first two rounds, and there is only 1 Nintendo character left as
opposed to 3 outside the company. Seriously, get over it. And yet...A Nintendo character won the main bracket, debated matches usually ended in the nint character winning (Yoshi/Dante being the most obvious - everything pointed to Yoshi and yet the N character won), Zelda made most of the male bracket look pathetic and also turned a debatable match with Aeris into a blowout, despite Aeris having much more reason to boost, Ganon - despite losing to Vincent - has also boosted, Luigi beat two characters who should have been stronger than him - and didn't Kirby do better on Luigi than Zero? I agree that Tifa beats Zelda. And you're being completely irrational if you don't think Cloud has a shot at Link. Combine Seph/Cloud and they're 900 votes behind Link right now. but the voters that made Solid a great character BEFORE he became god
still share some overlap. Cloud and Seph will get more than half of

votes. No, actually I was too busy watching how much of Samus' and Mario's support went to Link, and how Snake did better as the votals dropped. If Snake was a Nintendo character, he would have went out first, you're seriously being dense here. Any support he got from the SSB tralier means absolutely nothing when he goes against a person who's already been in the first two, and you can play as them. Link has already taken away any Nintendo support Snake had from SSB, it's still not going to split 100% in Cloud's favor as he's not from FF7/Square, but FF/MG has shown to have serious overlap in the past, acting like he's a Nintendo character now is just stupid. He still has his base strength from before this year, which was built on being a MGS character, and that portion is much more significant than any bonus he might have felt from SSB this year. --- Portugal. And being a FF7 fan obviously means you have better predicting skills
when it comes to their performances in a GameFAQs contest. Link SHOULD
be outdoing Cloud+Seph right now, if he wasn't, then everyone would be
calling for his head. Guess what? He's outdoing them by 1.5%. If
Snake's votes get split 55/45 to Cloud, it's going 50/50. Acting like

I am terrible at predicting in these things. Don't get me wrong. I have
Sephy > Cloud, but seriously... I've grasped at straws about Cloud
