The good thing about Cloud/Link is that Cloud will get 100% updates the
last hour of the match while the Link fanboys are waiting in line to

Nevermind ExTha -- he was, but I figured out the show I saw was the

I'm torn as to who I want to lose tonight. Snake losing would pretty much cement me as the 4th-place bracket, assuming the 3 people who got close enough to pass me yesterday by choosing Mario probably have Snake going out today. Yay prizes! Sephiroth losing would cost me 8 MORE points tomorrow, but I think it would cost everyone in the top 50 8 more points as well. It gives me a 33% chance to maintain the lead, a 34% chance to finish somewhere in the top 5, but also a 33% chance of finishing outside the prizes. Just some rough estimates. Oh well. I'm feeling good about my prize chances anyway, despite possibly THREE wrong choices in a row. --- Thank you, Eddie Guerrero. |

And the same should be true of Cloud/Sephiroth and Snake. Any Playstation support Snake gets would be siphoned away, since FFVII is a much bigger game than MGS, so they should have already robbed Snake of any Playstation support. Yeah, except Snake actually has a reason for a fanbase to like him for MGS over FF7, even if they like FF7. No one that's a Nintendo mark has ANY reason to support Snake when Link is in a poll with him, there's a huge ass difference between having games you star in, and appearing in a damn trailer. --- Portugal. Yeah, except Snake actually has a reason for a fanbase to like him
for MGS over FF7, even if they like FF7. No one that's a Nintendo mark
has ANY reason to support Snake when Link is in a poll with him,
there's a huge ass difference between having games you star in, and
appearing in a damn trailer. More than 70% of the site has played MGS1. I'm sure that many of those people are "Nintendo marks". It's not as if people who love Nintendo can't also love awesome characters. Is there any reason any noticeable amount of Sephy voters would jump
ship to Link? Because if not the last two days are gonna be pretty
boring if Link vs. Cloud+Seph equals Link vs. Cloud. At least if Snake
can tough it out the split of his votes is up in the air. --- Should I start running now? |

Yeah... I have to agree that if Snake loses tonight, tomorrow may as
well be the finals. I'm hope Snake pulls it off, aside from voting for
him in every round so far, and not liking Seph at all, it would just
make the contest 20 times better. Seph's behind by 434 votes right

Snake's had a really bad couple of hours where he went from projected
to win by a smidge to projected to lose by a similar smidge, but he
seems to be recovering here. I wouldn't speak too soon, of course -
