From trizob the hedgehog Saying the board vote goes to Samus is a little foolish. Snake is probably one of the most loved, least hated characters on this board... Yet the board vote went to Samus. Look at the updater, it's right there in the numbers TuRtLe ~~~ Pretty much out of the contest lol x-stats |

lol sowl For someone who thinks the SSB:B trailer did nothing to help Snake, you sure are banking on nothing boosting Squall to NN levels. I have a little theory that I'll post after this post Actually, I said there was no SFF at all in the match, yet mostly everyone here just laughed and said that there was. Soul - 1 Stats - 0 Yes, I started count as of right now... >_> --- - Why the hell did I bet against a character as deep, awesome and badass as Lara Croft, instead favouring a character from something as lame as HL2? whoa. whoa. whoa. whoa. whoa. this is still the NPH so I won't say anything conclusive.. but this is shaping up to be one hell of a match. Snake is good here, but this is ****ing Samus during the time where Nintendo characters kick ass. Snake will probably take the lead - will it be enough to hold Samus off? either way, after some bland finals this is freaking awesome. --- xyzzy |

Can anyone give me a feedback form for problems on GameFAQs?
(specifically, the poll being moved down on the page for me and a bunch
of other people) I just logged out, and it caused the poll to get pushed down by an ad. and unable to SFF things, but then people who hump the stats a bit too

Not true at all. She was getting pretty much the level of respect she deserved, actually. People were delusional about her strength. She was never going to beat Mario, not in a thousand years and especially after Mario's run through the contest. you know... I'm now convinced that the stats are going to make no
sense. (which is fine.) if you assume a constant Crono/Sonic/Mega Man
and Samus holds on to win here (if I had to guess a winner right now,
I'd say it's her), Samus is going to be even stronger than in 2k4. if you hold Samus constant, the entire male bracket is going to look bad. --- xyzzy |

It was always obvious. I can understand you thinking it was up in the air from a purely statistical perspective, as in, all things being equal, but that's naff, as they most certainly were not. I'd say it's her), Samus is going to be even stronger than in 2k4. if
you hold Samus constant, the entire male bracket is going to look bad. In any event, at least for the next few hours, it looks like the
percentages will fluctuate around 52-48 for Samus. I was a little
nervous for a while, as Snake was narrowing Samus's lead (Note: Samus
fan), but it's stable for now. We'll only see how capricious the

From what I hear (RPGuy = win!), Link gets around 60 - 62% on the
strongest of the Noble Nine not named Cloud or Sephiroth. That's so

Liquid Snake's situation can be explained with Frog being the
weirdest character on the contest scene in terms of completely random
performances. He just sucked that much against Sephiroth. Frog had one match that was an anomaly and three of his five matches happened to be characters around his strength, thus close matches. I...don't see this as reason enough. --- Diddy did it. Diddy did it. DAMMIT! What didn't Diddy do?! |
