Oh my ****ing god yes, get the Snake > Sephiroth bandwagon started,
because few things will be sweeter than seeing that bandwagon derailed

Actually, there have been two major character boosts in the history
of the contests, and both had similar reasons behind the boost. I'm sorry, but being featured for ten secondsi n a trailer =/= reaching out to a whole new demographic. Virtually nobody gave a damn about snake's appearance in the game outside people who were already snake fans. Not this contest, but next year I'm so having Snake beat him. As much as I'm shocked to say this; snake is the obvious favourite against samus. But with that said, samus' chances shouldn't be discounted. This... doesn't even imply a constant Mega Man. This implies Mega Man had a boost or Sonic and Crono fell. This makes absolutely no sense. Good god, when (if ever?) is Snake going to start falling off? If you missed my post before, snake ended up .82% higher on megaman then where he was an hour in by the end of that match. Snake has 56.81% right now and could very well make this that much
worse with the TRUE night vote. Sonic has a good day vote and will
definitely make some headway, but Mega Man doing better than him
actually seems...likely, actually. Of course, we're getting Sora > Auron and being on Vincent's level through this...holy moly. --- *kills self* Commit it to memory. |

would be anywhere near this bad. I was figuring Sonic would finish a
tad better than MM implying a small Sonic boost. Seems as though Crono
may have finally done the inevitable and dropped a bit. And I may be

No, because Pit wasn't the topic of every conversation for 3 days following that trailer. Snake was a topic of conversation by snake fans, and peopel surprised a non-nitendo character got in.
