And I have NO idea what to base the stats off this year. Samus? Haven't
had a good read since 2k4, and there's no way I'd bet on her being at
that value right now. Snake? Obvious boost. Mega Man? Obvious drop.
Crono seems to have lost a slight step looking at his day, Sonic has
looked more impressive, and the Battle Royale ain't doing us any

For Bowser = Luigi, Sonic would have to beat Crono with 53.23%, so...not happening. For Bowser = Yoshi, Snake would have to be able to beat Crono with 50.33%, for what it's worth. --- "A strong man doesn't need to read the future. I'd use Crono, honestly. Sonic's match with Luigi seemed to indicate
that he had boosted enough to at least go 50/50 with Crono, not

The real question here is why has Sonic
boosted? There's a small bit of hype for the next-gen games, but not

Honestly, random variation from the big increase in vote totals
could've been enough because Sonic is looking to have boosted...maybe
1.5% based on his 2005 number if Crono is constant. That's not a big

agree with Leon. since when was Crono a mortal lock to beat Sonic? he
beat Mega Man with like 51.5% of the vote. gotta get your head away

Yeah, like I said, Sonic should have been the logical favorite for this
from the getgo simply because they were so close and Sonic would have

That latest Sonic Next-Gen trailer renewed my faith in the game. Sonic & the Secret Rings is also looks like it'll be fun. But Sonic Rush really restored my faith. I still don't get why a lot of people don't like it; it's easily the best Sonic game in years. --- Gordon Freeman finally won, but somehow, the universe survived... thus allowing me to tell said universe about how I was owned by NClark128. |

Wow, how are people surprised at this result? We're talking Sonic's day
vote vs Crono's day vote, of course Sonic is going to obliterate him. I also maintain that this Crono is the same one we've been seeing since 2k2, it's just that voter influx helps characters like Mario/Sonic than him. TuRtLe ~~~ 81/88 in the contest. I did like Sonic Rush, but for some reason, it seemed like it lacked
the soul of Sonic 3 & Knuckles. It really felt more like Sonic 2 in
that respect (and I vastly prefer S3&K to Sonic 2). Also, it was

Also, next gen Sonic looks like a prettier entry into the Adventure
series, to be honest. Sonic and the Secret Rings looks a lot better, in

| Sonic isn't out of the woods yet. Crono built up his 2000 vote lead in all of 5 hours. If that trend even hints at returning soon, then Crono can still win. |
