Sonic is about to break MC/DK's record for largest swing if he can hit a lead of 1405. Vote swings don't matter if they did Sora/Alucard would be the biggest vote swing. Heh. Ganon's predicted to beat Bowser with 53.77% before SFF! Good stuff. It's pretty surprising to see how high Vincent, but the boost he needs to get to that level (3.13%) isn't unreasonable given what he's had over the past year. I feel better knowing that I just underestimate the boost and Ganon wasn't actually weaker than Vincent 2k5. Considering this will kill any chance of another Nintendo/Square
matchup until Cloud/Link, let's take a look at how they fared
head-to-head. Nintendo wins: Yoshi > Riku Zelda > Terra Samus > Rikku Zelda > Aeris Samus > Tifa Zelda > Yuna Square wins: Sora > Tingle Vincent > Ganondorf Crono > Captain Falcon Crono > Bowser Tifa > Peach Slight advantage to Nintendo, though in debated matches, it's basically a 1-1 split. --- "A strong man doesn't need to read the future. Wow. This contest is actually surprising. Go figure Mega Man would
become the new joke of the N9 while Snake becomes a juggernaut, with

This has indeed been a nice contest...unfortunately, the female half
was cruddy for the most part, so I wouldn't call this the greatest
contest ever... Oh, and while it'd be nice to see Samus lose to Zelda
tomorrow, I'd -hate- to see Zelda in the Battle Royale...not only do I
not want to see Zelda getting creamed in that, but I feel no female has

This has indeed been a nice contest...unfortunately, the female half

It could save face even more depending on what Zelda does tomorrow, so, while it probably didn't exceed everyone's low expectations, it had to have at least fulfillled them. --- Revenge is a dish best served by Z1mZum in the 2k6 Series Guru Contest. |

Some of the matches in the female bracket have been interesting, but
there wasn't a single upset in it the entire contest. That's pretty

As much as I wanted to see Crono win, this is life. What's bugging me is that Crono is going to end up doing worst against Sonic than Tifa did against FREAKING SAMUS! I mean, we're still looking at the possibility that Tifa will be #2 on the stats this year... Other then that we have an interesting final contention. No matter if its Zelda or Samus on the other side, Snake's gonna have his hands full with not one but TWO day voters in the upcoming rounds.
