Total Votes: At 6 AM: Samus/Tifa: 33087 Zelda/Yuna: 32751 Snake/Megaman: 30203 Crono/Sonic: 29195 Crono/Auron: 28539 At 8 AM: Samus/Tifa: 41295 Zelda/Yuna: 40873 Snake/Megaman: 38002 Crono/Sonic: 36237 Crono/Auron: 35554 At 10 AM: Samus/Tifa: 53843 Zelda/Yuna: 51251 Snake/Megaman: 48165 Crono/Sonic: 46940 Crono/Auron: 45333 At 12 PM: Samus/Tifa: 67675 Zelda/Yuna: 62604 Crono/Sonic: 59722 Snake/Megaman: 59527 Crono/Auron: 56234 At 1 PM: Samus/Tifa: 74280 Zelda/Yuna: 68045 Crono/Sonic: 65977 Snake/Megaman: 64446 Crono/Auron: 61541 Notice how Crono/Sonic has improved in vote totals relative to the other matches during the school day. Also, this confirms that Samus/Tifa also had a diluted day vote, as that match started was close to Zelda/Yuna at 6, and 6000 votes ahead by 1. --- "........!" ~Magus |

I don't know why people have so much faith in Crono. Well, because Sonic has failed to get over the hurdle so many times before, and he's in a match with who was considered to be the strongest male in the bracket. Plus, he's still behind, and I'm personally worried about some Crono fluke in the after school vote or something. I'm not going to be confident until I see 50.01%+ beside Sonic's name. Plus, Sonic/Mega Man last year got my hopes up and dashed them, too. This is almost a similar situation, where Sonic looks like he might pull it off and then some freak trend out of nowhere keeps him from winning. But if he pulls off the comeback, this will be one of the best matches (and thus making it one of the best contests) we've ever had. --- "A strong man doesn't need to read the future. Boo Crono gained. Anyway I don't think anyone should feel confident in Sonic, he's still 1100 votes behind, and yes the dayvote should favour him, but that's far from a lock. --- Supporter of Megaman and Sonic |

The gain Sonic made against Mega Man with
the afterschool vote may be enough for Sonic to lock this up by the
time 3:00 rolls around. Then consider that Mega Man is much
better with the day than Crono (Crono/MM confirms this), that this
looks like an even worse Crono with the day vote, that there is
virtually no second night vote to save Crono, that we have much higher
votals (and thus the potential for bigger comebacks)...I see no
advantage for Crono here whatsoever. His one hope is that the trends
will have to go wonky today, and seeing as how they sort of have so far
I wouldn't put it out of the question...but it definitely doesn't look
good. And as an aside, Black Turtle's comment about a 10,000 vote swing today makes me want to gouge out my eye with a rusty spoon. --- *kills self* Commit it to memory. |

Sonic deserves to lose if he cannot win the after school vote -- diluted or not -- from freaking Crono. In Typical Sonic fashion he'll probably take the lead and then not know what to do after that, Crono hits back to win by 12 votes. >_< |

Weird patterns maybe. We've already seen a strangely powerful night vote for Crono and Sonic dominating the school vote. But I mean, c'mon. Strange or not, is Crono really going to win the day vote aganist Sonic . There's only so wonky that trends can go. >_< |

>_< It's actually happened before. Crono took the lead of 800 with the night vote, Mario gained 1000 votes on him to take the lead around noon, and then around now, Crono stopped him, and gained 1000 votes himself during the afternoon and evening, before Mario went ballistic in the final hour and a half to come back 900+ votes and win. lol 2k3 trends. --- "........!" ~Magus |

If Crono has been constant this year, and he definitely looks like it,
then Vincent ends up being around 35.01% on Link 2k5, which is just
slightly under Sonic 2k5. Ganon goes up to ~33% on Link 2k5, which is
just slightly under Bowser 2k5 (overrated Bowser, that is). Damn Vincent boost! --- "My ambition is to create the coolest Link that's ever existed." -- Keisuke Nishimori, Twilight Princess |

hay guys castlevania isn't gonna win the day vote against halo! People really need to stoping using that as some sort of example of how we can be wrong when the day vote doesn't go as predicted. The difference between the series contest and these characters contests has a pretty large key -- we have seen these characters perform for multiple years. We simply assumed that because Alucard -- and SOTN -- had terrible day votes that Castlevania would follow suit. As it turns out, it actually is bit better as an entire series, as one might expect because I certainly argued that it could take the day vote from Halo. I know you're not necessarily saying that's the case, but it's not a good example to use. Sonic is pretty good with the day vote and Crono, this year in particular, is horrible with it. We've seen this time and again; it's rather expected that Sonic takes the day vote here. If he doesn't, it'd be because of the weird trends we've been seeing -- or perhaps this is just Crono sucking hard! If he doesn't get the after school vote, though, Sonic just sucks. >> --- "My ambition is to create the coolest Link that's ever existed." -- Keisuke Nishimori, Twilight Princess |

I think Knuckle's legendary day vote has more to do with him going up
against Night Crawlers like Snake, Magus and Squall. Of course his day
vote is going to look monstrous when all of his opponents suck with it.
