I can see Sonic winning with as much as 50.6% Even if the lead stays at 2000(it'll dip under that, but crono might bring it back to 2000 after the morning stops) you'd be looking at Crono with about 51.5% at about 3 PM. And when has he NOT lost more than 1.5% with the after-school vote? *waits for ignorant people to come up with "LOL % DOESN'T EQUAL VOTES@!1"* --- ertyu and VeghEsther are truly proof that there is much about this world we still do not understand. |

Um, Sonic is not exactly good at the afterschool vote. He only gained 0.52% against CATS. 0.02% against Vincent. This match actually resembles Snake/Bowser a lot to me. If most schools in America are open today, and this match follows that one, then Crono should stall Sonic within a couple of hours and extend his lead during school, as Sonic is getting only slightly over 50% right now. The percentage remained in rough stasis during school, above 52%, which is what Crono should have during school today, and that is when Snake added 1000 votes to his lead. Given that the percentages are similar, and Crono has a larger lead than Snake did at this point, Crono should enter the afterschool vote with around 52% and a 3000 vote lead. If there are a large number of schools that are closed, Crono's during school vote should be weaker, and Sonic may come back some then. But his afterschool gains will be correspondingly smaller. Bowser reached his final percentage against Crono by 3 or so on a Saturday. Yeah, I don't think Sonic is coming back from this. His day vote just begins earlier than most (presumably due to the Europe vote?) --- "........!" ~Magus |

And Crono gains on that update. In Vincent/Crono, Vincent peaked... 15
minutes ago. I know, different Vincent, different Crono, different

And Crono wins a 15 minute update. From 8 Eastern to the End: Sonic actually LOST 0.19% on Vincent from this point. Sonic lost 0.36% against Luigi from this point (weekend). And Sonic gained 1.5% on CATS from here. Crono... lost 3.37% against Bowser from here on (weekend). Crono lost 3.14% against Captain Falcon from here. And Crono lost 3.34% against Auron from this point. Well, one thing to mention is the before school vote starts earlier than the morning vote does during the summer or on weekends, which helps explain Crono's huge losses to Bowser. --- "........!" ~Magus |

I would think that Auron has a better day vote than Vincent after KH2
and FFXII. The thing is, Vincent made no progress with the day vote
against Crono, and Auron destroyed him with it. Surely Crono's day vote

Bowser's day vote is certainly not bad. It's... average. But an average day vote shouldn't be able to do that to anyone. And Auron made Crono look worse than Alucard with the day vote. --- ertyu and VeghEsther are truly proof that there is much about this world we still do not understand. |

Well, it's not like Auron's day vote has to be substantially better
than Vincent's. Crono split the day vote with Vincent last year, as
Sonic did this year. I'm not ready to believe that Crono last year had

The day vote has already started. Sonic actually had a lead against
Megaman last year at this time, and Megaman used the school hours to
take a 1000 vote lead. Being up 1900 means Crono needs less of a swing
in percentage to get those same 1000 votes, even if he is worse than MM
during these times. I think if a large percentage of schools in America are closed today, then Sonic has a better shot, as the morning vote starts later (8 Eastern is the typically acknowledge start time, but it doesn't really get going for another hour or 2 after that). If we're following the school day pattern more closely, then MM/Sonic may be a better comparison, and Megaman was stalling Sonic now, just like Crono is doing. looking at Sonic/Vincent, this was Sonic's best part of the match. if
that's true, Crono may have the edge here after all. Sonic's only
managed to pull off 200 votes in two hours. the afterschool vote will

Sonic always blows it whenever anyone puts any pressure on him. He's the A-Rod of the contests. Random interesting fact: With Snake and Samus winning this round, every Noble Niner except Sonic has made it to the Final Four at least twice. Sonic has not made it at all. Sonic is also the only Noble Niner to never have a victory over another Noble Niner. --- That... was her final mission. And like a true soldier, she saw it through to the end. ZSB [aX] |

Sonic doesn't even need to pull off any more votes. Having Crono at
around 2000 by the time school lets out should be just enough to win.
Any more than that is just insurance. I thought Crono might bring it back a bit over 2000 before 3 PM though. But perhaps I was being a bit... optimistic. Well, it could still happen. Looking at Ganon/Vincent and Ganon/Auron, Sonic may yet have a chance.
There is KH2 and FFXII though. Eh, given Crono's impressive stalling in
the last hour, I'm still optimistic about Crono's chances of hitting

hey RPGuy, do you have Crono/Bowser by hour? I know it was a weekend, but Bowser tore into Crono during the morning. I think Sonic has a very good shot here, but I expected him to do more than 200 votes with the morning vote. as I said yesterday, I wanted to see 54% come 7am to be confident and he didn't have that. --- xyzzy |

3000 before 3 PM I.. don't know. That would mean Crono would get about
51.75% of the vote from here all the way to 3 PM. I mean, that's about
what he got from 3 AM to 6 AM, and that's without the fact that the
coming hour will likely still just be stalls by Crono. Way too

OH HO HO!!! i fully expected to see Sonic seriously cutting into
Crono's lead, but Crono has actually won the last 3 updates (even
though the last update was only 4 votes.) so, that means that so far,
Sonic has only cut into Crono's lead by about 300 votes in the past 3
and a half hours. if Crono can keep hanging in there, he will pull this
one off! --- i have officially been Z1mZum'D in the guru contest. Vincent Valentine to win the Blast Division!! |
