zelda handily for people to regain their faith in her, despite the

Well, her match against rikku wouldn't anyway. The other two are question marks I suppose. Crono is a bit ahead of Snake's pace against Mega Man, and Snake had a
4200 vote lead by 7:00 AM, the very beginning of the morning vote. So
it seems that Crono and Snake are finally going to get a rematch after
four years. Which brings me to an interesting question. Chrono Trigger got 42% on FFVII. Metal Gear Solid got 28% on FFVII. Neither character has faced VII's big boys. I think Snake would be the more interesting BR candidate. you can say there's a fanbase overlap, but I don't think it's that
much. Snake would still do respectably vs. Cloud or Seph. Crono would
resist SFF as well, but I'm not sure if Crono has enough fans that

Battle Royale is one of those matches that Crono can do very well in. Static Votes (Votes that a character will get no matter who the oponent) will be very essential in the early stages of the battle royale. Crono is a lot of people's favorite character unlike someone like Samus who is generally like by everyone but few people's favorite. Heck Master Chief would probably do very well in a Battle Royale. |

so, I wouldn't be surprised to see Crono with 60%+ updates. Of course
there's only 800 votes/15 minutes compared to 2000+ during the after

and Snake's fanbase doesn't define hardcore? the amount of people who
would vote Snake over everything is pretty big. I would expect him to
get at least fourth in a BR setting, maybe third if the FF7 guys split
votes. as for this match, looks like Sonic is going to need the biggest comeback ever to pull this off. he could very well get it given the opposing trends of these two characters. --- xyzzy |

Crono has plenty of fans who would vote him over anything. If CT can
get 42% against FF VII and Crono can get 38% against Link, it's not
like there's anything else out there that's strong enough to suck up
all his votes. It seems like everyone's handing this match to Crono right now, but in my opinion he's basically doing just well enough for me to consider him still in the match. Considering how he fell apart against Bowser and Auron, Crono pretty much needs to be over 54% right now if he wants to have a chance of surviving the day. --- ....TCELES B HSUP |

The morning isn't the end of this onslaught, it'l just create a few
hours of slowing it down. The voting that takes place during school
pretty much acts as a second night vote. See: Kairi vs. Claire, and
Jill vs. Peach. And then there's the fact that if crono is winning updates by this much by the after after school vote, chances are the shift in votes won't be enough for sonic to actually take off the lead, it might just increase at a slower pace, with crono losing percentage but still having a growing lead. --- Currently listening to: A Twist in the Myth, Amputechture, Deus Ex Machinae, Black Wings of Destiny, Let Mortal Heroes Sing your Fame, and others. |

to have a chance of surviving the day. I agree though I am somewhat less confident in Sonic now. Sub-Zero vs MC makes me somewhat doubt the comeback potential, but Sub-Zero's day vote is far better than Crono's and MC still swung nearly 2000. --- Take off every sig. |

I can't believe I'm cheering for Crono right now. I've become a
soul-less heathen. I do like the guy, just... I dunno, him beating

Mega Man last year (1075 down to 0 back up to 750), which doesn't

You are aware that the higher your percentage gets, the harder it becomes to increase it, right?If Crono has 54% by the afetr school vote, that means he'll at least have a lead of 5k. That's pretty much entirely impossible for anyone to overcome, as it would require sonic to need to average taking about 50 votes off the lead per five minute update to win.
