The 2nd night vote is pretty much dead. That's why the first night vote is so sinister these days. Unlike MM, Crono doesn't really have anything left to look forward to. Sonic caught up over 200 votes in the past hour. He's 1,600 votes

Screw my prediction. Look at the updates, Crono's finished. He can't hold the lead on any further. While I like Sonic, I was hoping that Crono would win so that the Sonic Fanboys (and Board 8 in general) would get pissed. The Sonic Fanboys are easily the worst fanboys I've ever seen. But it seems like they're gonna defeat me. *sigh* --- The Beatles >>>> Lolicon. |

Ugh...I may have to retract my 3000 vote lead by 3 PM prediction. I
didn't expect Crono to get going until after 12, but it looks like
Crono isn't even going to get to 2000 by 12, which is what I was
thinking earlier. I still think Crono will pull this above 2000, maybe
2500, before the afterschool vote starts, and I wouldn't completely
rule out 3000. Or Sonic could just keep gaining until 3 PM. If that
happens though, I think it's pretty clear the school vote today was
very diluted by Veterans' Day, and it does not guarantee a Sonic
victory, though it would look pretty grim for Crono if he is unable to

I hate to say this, but even if Sonic is looking really good, a 1600

The 12-3 period is Crono's lifeline. Sonic managed to swing 2000 with the after school vote aganist MM, and Crono is even weaker than MM with it. Crono needs to have at least 2500 before the day vote hits to be in control. --- Smurf The Cream of Sonic Fanboyism |

The Sonic Fanboys are easily the worst fanboys I've ever seen. But it seems like they're gonna defeat me. *sigh* Probably beceause we're so **** on by the other major fanbases, we've been desperately awaiting our chance at glory. And this would obviously be by far are most glorious moment. Um, Sonic swung 300 against MM with the afterschool vote. If you
discount MM's gains with the second night vote, Sonic still only gained

All Crono can hope for is stall Sonic until one (or two if he's really
lucky) hour left in the match where he can make some minor gains to
win. Which means if Sonic is able to get a 200-300 lead on Crono before

This past hour has been great for Sonic's comeback chances. Just to provide an overall perspective of Sonic needs to do. Current Lead: 1575 Votes Needed to shave off lead per Hour: 121-122 Votes Needed to shave off lead per 15 min update: 30-31 Votes Needed to shave off lead per 5 min update: 10-11 Expected Lead at end of the hour: 1453 --- Chun-Li's Road to the Female Final Four: Failed! While I'll admit, I looked at the updater and it doesn't look fantastic
for Crono here, it's not good to make baseless assumptions. This match

Because it acts essentially as a second night vote. Jill extended a 600
vote lead to a lead of 1427 during this time, and it's also the period
when MM and Snake made their leads insurmountable against Sonic and

Woo! ^_^ I went to school today with Sonic down by 2000...I thought it was over. Sonic can still do it though! Sonic's still an old school favorite, he certainly does not need to really on the "kiddie" vote to win. Coming back from 1500 is tough, but look at who he's playing aganist. Crono has lost a lot of percent aganist people who are only average with the day vote like Auron, what's going to happen to him when he's pitted aganist a master of it? --- Smurf The cream of Sonic Fanboyism. Although, I am increasingly thinking that this match is more analagous
to a weekend or summer match than a typical school day match. That last
hour did not at all fit the trends for a school day. In a
weekend/summer match, Sonic would win 12-3, but he would not have a
strong afterschool vote after 3, and he would stop gaining entirely, if
Magus/Knuckles can be believed, around 6. The second night vote would
exist in a small way... maybe enough for Crono to swing a couple

He's got plenty of voters in the older generation. Right. People are just comparing Crono to what Mega Man did last year. IMO, I could see Crono reviving a little and going 50/50 with Sonic. Yeesh, I go work on my match picture for awhile and see Sonic on a roll
(punny?). Looks like Crono may be losing the lead after all, because
this is supposed to be his time, unless more people don't have school

Hmm......I got class from 1-1:50, then on the road going home from

Hmm... At this time in Magus/Knuckles, Knuckles already had a lead of
277 with 50.43%. He gained 1479 votes and 0.43% on Magus from there to
the end. He hit his peak with a lead of 2718 at 5:50 PM Eastern. (To be
fair to Sonic here, Knuckles's gains from here to midnight eastern are
0.73%) Sonic had better hope this match is not analogous to Magus/Knuckles, or he won't get close to Crono here. It's probably somewhere in between this trend, and the typical school trend. --- "........!" ~Magus |
