Sonic is not a classic, he is a two-bit ripoff of Mario, heck Crono is

...Ripoff? The platforming element, maybe, but other than that, Sonic

At this point I want Snake/Crono to go 50/50 until 3:00 PM, when
Snake jumps out of a box and says "SHOWTIME" while Mario and Link turn,
jaws agape. Heh, that would be even more awesome if they had an animated gif with that for the battle royal pic. The other 5 characters in the pic and Snake popping out and saying "IT'S SHOWTIME"! Heh...try a picture of the moon from LoZ:MM instead of that moon and
have the background barely brighter and blue, and see how that would

Either way, based on performances in this contest, I can't see either
side winning with more than 53% when all's said and done. If Sonic
wins, he'll probably have to do it via comeback as well, so that'll be

I called Snake over Mega Man without it ever looking close, and I have done the same with Crono over Sonic. Sonic will not break 49% past the board vote, and even that isn't necessarily going to go his way. ~~~ The one. The only. Lady Ashe. |

Am I the only one who thinks Sonic looks like he's about to have his head cut off? >.> I never understood these people who look at match pics where it's obvious that CJayC simply took two artworks and pasted them on the background, and try to derive some kind of action out of it, like "OMG Sonic's about to get his head chopped off" because there's a sword in the picture or "OMG! Character X is humping Character Y!" because one is behind the other. I never understood what kind of minds came up with these quaint little scenarios for each match pic. People don't necessarily look for flaws in the match pic. It's just that I saw it and that's the first thing I thought. When I saw the pic, I didn't think that Sonic was getting his head cut off, but rather that he was blocking out Crono's sword. And as we all know, Crono without his SWORD FACTOR is powerless! --- ertyu and VeghEsther are truly proof that there is much about this world we still do not understand. |
