SSBM is for all intents and purposes the same thing as SSB. The difference is that SSB is for the N64, upon which Samus had no games, and SSBM is for the GCN, upon which Samus had two games, one of which gave her a huge boost. Wow, can't believe I forgot Ness. Hmmm...I know Ness was generally THE favorite of SSB-players, and Samus was high up there too I believe. Samus was still solid in SSBM as well, and -- though greatly reduced -- Ness wasn't bad in it either... ...hmmm. --- Diddy did it. Diddy did it. DAMMIT! What didn't Diddy do?! |

I wonder if he'll be able to rebound from this next year. I doubt it, and I certainly hope not. I love the original Mega Man series. MMX too, though not as much. MM Zero... not bad. But Mega Man himself has become such a washed up hack. Sonic got what he deserved last year. Mega Man is getting what he has deserved for YEARS, and seeing a character as ****ing awesome as Snake doing the honors makes this match all the better. The only real downside here is how annoying Super Luigi is, but that's a minor factoid that can safely be ignored with GameFOX. Snake forever! ~*ST*~ --- Winner of the Spring 2004 "Best. Game. Ever." I'm afraid I don't see what you are trying to do there, Arrowny. Just making the point that strength in the series contest is irrelevant. We've seen post-SSBM Kirby gain 8% from new games, yet his series is still weak as hell. Are you saying that having a close match against someone who was expected to beat him easily was what he deserved? Forgetting how he got smashed by Cloud and Samus embarassing him twice? I still maintain that Mega Man is more likely to get into SSBB then Sonic is, so maybe MM won't be the weakest NN come next year....well I can hope anyway.
