If somebody is lower than Mega Man in the Noble Nine after this, I'll

Mega Man's going to keep on sucking for another two hours, we're back
in a mini-night vote situation here. But when 3:00 comes, he's got to
make his push for saving face then and there. If he can't swing at

Unless Samus really just dropped off a ton this year, there's no way
Mega Man's in the top nine. Whether you think it's legitimate or not is

well does this officialy make megaman the bottom of the noble nine? If Luigi 2005 = Luigi 2006, Sonic is at 39.34% on BL, meaning he gets 49.34% on Crono 2005. If Vincent = Auron, Crono defeats Sonic with 52.52%. If Ganondorf = Auron, Sonic defeats Crono with 50.08%. If Luigi = Bowser, Sonic defeats Crono with 53.23%. If Vincent 2005 = Vincent 2006, Crono defeats Sonic with 53.45%. Remember when I said that Snake would win the male bracket 2 months ago, and you guys all started having x-stat seizures? Yeah, well. You guys keep finding new ways of humiliating yourselves. Yikes. I'd have to consider Snake the favourite to win the main bracket
at this point, which would just be crazy considering he's been the
weaker Noble Niner since 2k2 (with one exception - 2k3). And if he gets
into the Battle Royale...well, we'd miss our chance to see if Crono
could withstand SFF, but seeing if Snake could would be just as

I'd have to consider Snake the favourite to win the main bracket at
this point, which would just be crazy considering he's been the weaker

Even if you remove 3000 votes or so from Crono (which is how many Ceej
implied there were, I believe), that doesn't make Crono or Snake move
much at all in the stats. If Mario was higher than Sephiroth by any
notable margin in 2002, Snake had a good chance at being stronger than
Samus and Sonic. And honestly, I believe it. I've typically considered 2002 to be Snake's strongest year (well, outside of this one now I guess, holy ****). --- *kills self* Commit it to memory. |

Eh, Tifa moving up two points (meaning she equals Vincent 2k5) seems
like a good adjustment, at least as a floor value. She had AC and KH2,
and let's not forget it was her debut in the latter. 2 points is a
modest growth, all things considering. And yeah, that definitely puts her over most estimations for Mega Man that don't involve Snake becoming a complete monster. --- *kills self* Commit it to memory. |

It was always really hard for me to imagine 2k5 Snake as being his strongest year prior to 2k6 due to that match with Bowser... Now, let's not get out of hand -- 2005 is almost certainly Snake's second strongest year, and I only really argue for 2002 because of the possibility that Mario was SFFed. The Bowser match isn't exactly a good argument. Crono proves he was overrated, and Snake looked damn good in all his other matches. --- *kills self* Commit it to memory. |

After the Samus/Tifa posts that were made, I think even Ulti is embarrassed being associated with this clique. 1) You present the most god-damned ignorant arguements to date (KOS-MOS/Amy) and get arrogant when you're right (today) while ignoring when you're wrong (Shadow's an elite), it's no wonder people want you out of these topics. 2) Most of us realized Solid Snake had a small chance, but Mega Man was rightfully the favorite before the bracket was locked. Your upset pulled out and most of us are happy Solid's winning, and you're still managing to be the worst part of the occasion. 3) Ulti still makes it a point to make as many of the topics as he can -- super-early at that -- so I don't think he's nearly as embarrassed as he lets on. --- Damn, most of my dates involve mocking and/or beating up people like you and your bride-to-be, so I really have no advice --Horatio |

Mega Man needs actual, real releases.
Things that people can actually get excited for. Say what you will
about Sonic's next-gen offerings, but the fact is they're making an
attempt, and it shows in the big-budget advertising and hype. Mega Man ZX was always going to be worth nothing, because it had nothing to offer. Capcom needs to get their head out of their ass with the MM rehashes, because the potential for a resurgence is there. It's just untapped. --- *kills self* Commit it to memory. |

Well, I at least hope this puts to rest the whole "X won last time, I

Wow. 14 hours and Megaman has still not won a single 5-minute update.
And... this is the second time Megaman has failed to match Bowser's
percentage on a common opponent. Maybe Bowser really is stronger than

Well, I hardly think anyone's arguing that Bowser's on par with Mega
2k5...it's Mega 2k6 who has just stunk up the joint in every match he's
been in. Bowser won't be on par with MM this year (OV-ER-A-TED! *claps*) but they could be quite close in the stats, especially if Snake continues his streak and wins the main bracket. --- *kills self* Commit it to memory. |
