| I just thought I'd note that if these
extraordinary vote totals stay for the next two days, they SHOULD
benefit Snake and Sonic since they're in the more mainstream eye than

despite MM's 2-0 record, I'd be more surprised by a big MM win than
a big Snake win. a big MM win would mean Snake = Sora which would make
my head explode. To be fair, a 'big' Snake win (53%+) projects Mega Man to be very close to Yoshi considering that he laid an even bigger beatdown on the dino and that Yoshi doesn't really have reason to boost this year (unlike Sora). Thinking of it that way, a big win by either seems improbable. (though it won't stop me from predicting one for Snake!) --- *kills self* Commit it to memory. |

High vote totals have never been shown to help mainstream characters.
Crono and Magus did fine in 2003, whereas it was Sonic's worst year.

It just seems kinda sad that some people need illegal stuff to get their kicks. I don't really care though. It just bugs me when people start bragging about doing it and act like it's all cool and stuff. Like TC did. Maybe you can handle it, but some people get screwed over with it you know? Yoshi being stronger than Liquid Snake wouldn't impress anyone! Fortunately he couldn't get anywhere near Solid Snake despite having all the intangibles in his corner, as Yoshi is the worst character ever. ^_^ --- *kills self* Commit it to memory. |

More like MM with 51%, Crono with 52%, Samus with 57%, Crono (over MM)
with 52%, and Samus (over Crono) with 53%! Followed by Link > Cloud

After yesterday, I just don't see Samus getting anywhere near 57% on
Zelda...barring the SFF of a lifetime...which isn't exactly her strong

I wouldn't say nobody. I mean, even ZSS ranks up right next to Zelda

improbable. Not really, all that would mean is that Snake's sprite caused a big overperformance on Yoshi's part last round. So what do think of the Crono Vs. Weren't many people coming to look for an FAQ, that is. 'Course, it doesn't stop people from blaming SMS for Mario/Cloud. Saw this on the last page of the last topic. The difference is that PlanetGamecube linked to the poll for Mario/Cloud, resulting in an assload of traffic redireted from their non-FAQ site. FF12 is a game that some people might actually use a FAQ for, but not for the first 5-6 hours of the game. Had Tifa/Samus and Zelda/Aeris days been switched, you would have seen totally different percentages for both. TuRtLe ~~~ 81/88 in the contest.
