Anyone care to explain a three update stall on Samus I mean i didnt
think stalls would happen again til at leats the 18:00 mark... For what it's worth, Tifa began stalling Peach around this time too. Peach took off with the first hour of the afterschool vote, looked like she was going to dominate it, and then her gains just became tiny. If this is NOT all picture, I'm taking Zelda to win next round. Tifa > Zelda, friends. I don't know why people are automatically assuming Zelda is stronger than Tifa all of a sudden. *sighs* It's sad that this match is going to form according to the other close matches we've had. Also, it's not like ZSS and Samus look anything alike, so that really
hurts Samus's ability to be recognized by the casuals. Yeah, I know
it's doubting the casual voters intelligence, but past matches have

Also, if Yuna overperforms against Zelda, then I might start believing
that FFXII traffic is also helping FF characters, because aside from
Aeris (which was the day of), they've all looked pretty good since the

Crono still managed to pull in about 54% of the vote from 3 PM to 4 PM. It wasn't until after 4 PM that Auron went on to hold Crono to about 51-52%. Tifa may benefit from whatever magical fairy dust Auron took --- ertyu and VeghEsther are truly proof that there is much about this world we still do not understand. |

That's what makes it so delightful! Tifa is awesome. Tifa is the worst character in a game with characters like Sephiroth, Cloud, Aeris, and Yuffie. People need to understand there are like 4 or 5 factors helping Tifa
here and none helping Samus. (KH2, AC, FFXII, Pic Factor, possible
Samus overatedness). None of the individual factors are that much, but
if each was like 2% or 4000 votes, that would be enough to make this
match close. I'm also tempted to suggest a close match factor, which encourages close matches to stay close, which is sort of obvious, as people are probably harrassing friends to vote for Tifa since she has a chance of winning/breaking the noble nine. If this was a 60%-40% match, Tifa likely wouldn't have those votes. One check for this would be to see if total votes are up. |
