I can't see Sora being 10th. That's the only place I think is
impossible for him right now. It would put Mega Man a noticeable bit

This year's near elites have been extremely impressive against their
noble nine competition (with the notable exception of Snake's
opponents). Too bad it's the last time any of them sans Megaman can be

Who do you think has the chokehold on 10th? Vincent? I'd probably agree

Vincent is practically a lock for 10th, in my mind. Sora getting more
than 48% on Sonic would astound me far more than this match right now

16 peoples in the top 50 picked Samus as their champion,and 90% of the
rest probably picked Samus over Tifa,but lose to Male winner or
something This match can change the top 50 totally,and if Zelda will beat Samus...oh man.. --- laff |

Tifa/Zelda would be a far more interesting female final than
Samus/Zelda...Of course, it'd be a more boring overall final, but meh,

So if Sonic/MM were to happen, you'd expect Sonic to win with at least
52%? Interesting. I too think he would win at this point, probably with
that much as well, but it's just weird to see after what happened last
year, granted we've seen much bigger shifts. I'd probably put Sora at
either 11th or 12th when all is said and done. 10th = Vincent,
11th/12th = Sora/Squall. Squall got jobbed hard this year. I would have
taken him over any non nobler + Vincent pre-contest, and I still would

Vincent isn't even going to be placed at 10th, he'll be higher than
some of the NN in the X-stats. Sonic is going to steamroll through the
male division, so it will be interesting to see how high Vincent ends

I'll sacrifice it for Tifa's sake! Agreed. But if anyone can leapfrog Crono, and I truly and honestly believe Sonic can, it'd be nice to see how they perform on Samus, or possibly beat her. I don't see it happening, but against Zelda/Tifa it would be a snore fest. It'd be hilarious if we got Zelda/Tifa after all the *****ing about switching Aeris/Tifa in the bracket pre-contest, to see Zelda/Tifa, and sacrifice Aeris to Samus. I wish there was a poll yesterday asking "Is Samus a male or female?" and see how many people say male, female, or I don't know. All of a sudden, nobody's safe in this bracket anymore. If this is NOT all picture, I'm taking Zelda to win next round. It can't ever be "proven" to affect anything. People just seem to think that the picture has something to do with the outcome of the match. 99% of voters aren't going to forget who the character is just because of the picture. Most casual gamers will still know who the characters are regardless of the picture. If they don't know the character then obviously the other character that they do know deserves their vote, because in that case they would be more popular. If 10% of the people think she's male, and 50% of those don't check out
whether or not they're wrong, that leaves 5% not knowing she's female.
If only 2.5% of those were to vote for Samus but vote for Tifa, that'd

Tifa did not receive the FF influx strength when she was against Peach

The gap is under 600 votes. I'm too lazy to check what it is but she has been gaining all day. Tifa is easily stronger than Zelda. Aeris is just one of the weakest FF7 chars. The picture is certainly a factor to some extent, but I really do
believe that all the traffic FFXII is bringing to the site is helping a

I swear to god, next year's gonna be chaos. If this is Tifa being
over-rated bad, then if the male half now have close matches here on
out and in the championship as well, then the Battle Royal's not going
to tell us anything much except who's the two strongest and who wins
between them, then bring back lots of snubs like Knuckles and Ness or
how about some Fox McCloud...THEN consider we'll have the new influx
brought by the PS3 and Wii, not to mention the big games that will

How anyone can believe this match is over is beyond me. It's under a
600 vote lead for Samus, and decreasing, sure Samus will probably get
the day vote, but it won't be anything absolutely massive looking at
