I think some voters are refusing to vote for Samus because they
dislike her image without the suit... it's not a bad picture, but...
it's like she's not Samus at all (someone else pointed that out...I
forget). With Snake, he has some semblence of being that sneaky stealth
man, and he gets hurt by 8-bit pictures... I also wouldn't be surprised
to see Samus drop in strength permanently after SSBB comes out,
regardless of the type of picture she has....well, she does have the
new Metroid game coming out, so she'll probably be alright. As for a Samus drop, I could see it...but not very much, though. She was too dominant in Round 2 and 3 to make me think that...I could see Tifa growing a good deal, though. I have to admit that half the reason I'm a huge fan of Samus is because of her suit... I just wouldn't care for her if she was suitless in all her games. That's a very good point actually... with someone with as bland of a personality as Samus, character design is HUGE when talking about how well liked a character is. --- Cheer Up Emo Kids. |

Seriously though, a Tifa boost of this proportion can't explain Jill/Peach, you know the one who would kick Chunners ass 9 ways to sunday if this was legit. I know you weren't really serious with that, but even if KHII boosts Tifa, it's not anywhere close to this extent. --- Cheer Up Emo Kids. |

I too actually favor EC's way of thinking. I don't believe the KH(II)F

Samus has only ever been blatantly sff'd once. Ever. To think zelda
could sff her where gannon and link both failed seems like grasping at

to the zero suit samus pic. If frog was able to come within 1.5% of
snake with solid ****, why can't the samus that looks like a completely

Holy crap..... This is like Mario/Cloud 2k3 all over again. Tifa has every single intangible going her way. And say what you will about pictures having nothing to do with anything, Samus is freaking unrecognizable there. Samus is a futurustic bounty hunter using a high-tech, alien suit. Not Barbie with a lightsaber. If Samus ends up beating the Male winner, I'll attribute Tifa's complete and utter overratedness to this picture among the other factors. Also, this is making me feel a bit better about Mega Man > Snake TuRtLe ~~~ 81/88 in the contest. | zwong, Sora likely boosted more than Tifa did, and
Mega Man put 55% on that Sora. So Mega Man's 55% on Sora and 70% on

If Tifa boosted this much thanks to KH/AC/FF12, I'm afraid of how much Vincent boosted thanks to those plus his own game... Vincent did not have that FF12 boost at that time.
