I wouldn't call Snake the favorite right now, and I certainly wouldn't
tomorrow, seeing as how I expect a big performance from Mega Man. With
a fair picture, however, I think Snake can make it very close and may
pull off the win, but I doubt it. --- I don't know when, I don't know how, but I know something starting right now... Watch and you'll see, someday I'll be... part of your world! |

Mega Man's matches are inconclusive so far - an unknown and a weird Ryu drop out of nowhere. they don't look good,
but I can't say for sure if they're bad either. I think if MM can outdo
Snake today, he deserves favourite status. but right now I'd say it's
inconclusive. if I had to lean towards one, yeah, probably Snake. but I wouldn't feel comfortable about it at all. --- zizzy |

*cough* *has MM > Snake* I didn't see Snake being able to turn around 7% in two years, but Snake's performance Squall and today's performance, coupled with MM failing miserably against Ryu (did he end up doing worse than Bowser? Either way it was close) has made a believer. I'm very confident in Snake winning now and he's the favourite in my book, but not quite a lock. I'll wait for MM to fail tomorrow before I call it that. I didn't see Snake being able to turn around 7% in two years Well, he turned around over 4-5% in 2005, and he's got reason to go up again. I don't think it's wise to judge Mega Man's favorite status based on
tomorrow's match, considering he's up against the star of Kingdom

If this has any trend like Bowser/Snake... Snake ought to at least slow
down Yoshi's day surge in the late evening. I'll say Yoshi ends up at

Sonic and Shadow look nothing like each other.Shadow was just very
popular in 2003,then he fell to end up on knuckles's level in 2004.and

About 58% actually. It may have been mentioned, but did someone see that ugly graphic of snake compared to the beautiful one of Yoshi. I'd like to see what people say if Mega Man still beats Snake. That's like asking what happens when ANY big upset occurs (which will be ironic, since Snake will be the upset). And if I believed in X-Stats to the letter I'd be that confident too, because I wouldn't give Ryu a snowball's chance against Yoshi. It's almost tempting enough for me to revoke MM's favorite status in my eyes. You want a preliminary explanation? Snake/Squall was SFF, the Devil Division really was very overrated, and Terra/Kerrigan lend themselves to the argument while Vincent just boosted massively to make it appear like it was legit, Yoshi is hence indirectly (and significantly) weaker than Bowser/Luigi. Ryu rebounded from 2005/overperformed in 2006, Kratos' game sold extremely well in the offseason for a boost, and (insert varying level of KH2 boost for Sora here). Or they'll just blame it on the picture. 2004 Mark Deux, here we come? --- *kills self* Commit it to memory. |

If Mega Man still beats Snake, I won't be shocked. It'll just end up
being like Dante/Yoshi. Dante had every right to be called the
favorite. He just didn't win. Simple as that. It's not like Snake is
head and shoulders above Mega Man anyway. If he is, he's a contender to
