Remember when Zelda stomped Vivi and people gave her a shot at Snake? Zelda will fail to break 40% on Samus. Zelda 2k5 - 33.71%BL Solid Snake 2k4 - 33.05%BL Zelda not beating Solid Snake had more to do with him boosting than Zelda being overrated. --- I got pwnt by Z1mZum in the July 2006 Guru Contest. If I didn't know anything about these contests, I would automatically
assume Zelda to be stronger than Ganondorf. She shows up more than just

And, yeah, Zelda is already projected to get over 40% in 2005. You can argue that Samus is underrated...but it's really
hard to deny that Zelda has boosted. We've heard the "Zelda is just
overperforming on fodder!" for the first two rounds and now she's just
dominating Aeris with neary a 2000 vote lead in 2 hours and 15 minutes.
I think it's really safe to say that Zelda is going to easily beat Ganon's performance on Samus. --- "Let's face it: the princess Zelda has always been a symbol of sexual desire." |

Yeah -- now, again, to clarify, I'm not trying to say Zelda will or
even could pull the upset. It's hard for me to imagine her surpassing
45%, even, with all things going her way...but Zelda shall impress
against Samus by at least outdoing Ganon, something nobody liked to

Oh, and also, people have got to stop making topics so ridiculously
early. From GFK to Ulti, it's been happening a lot lately, and it's
non-sensical. not true at all - I watched a topic for the strongest villain or
something hit 500 and the person made the next one and they continued
right there. at the very least, 450 - it's not like we get 50 posts in
a minute here very often. anyway, I'd take Yuna as well - the point is that Zelda wasn't indirectly stronger than Ganondorf last year, the year before or ever. this year is the first time she's looked that way. --- xyzzy |

I think Zelda should get 43+%...don't know about 45% though. But she's got a good shot at 45%, yeah. Zelda has really been impressive so far. Now, in the past we've seen characters be real impressive and then disappoint. But I don't think Zelda will do that against Samus. I think Zelda will break 56% at the end of the match. Zelda is just
plain impressive this year. She thrash fodder like they are ants and
then she proceed to kick Aeris back to her grave. I agree she will do
well(maybe 43-44%) against Samus but definitely does not stand a chance

Whoa! This is amazing, and I'm one of those few people who have claimed
that Zelda > Samus was actually a semi-realistic upset for the
daring. Anyway, it's good to see people other than HM and me argue for

So if we get a one day delay, it'll fall on the Link/Cloud match. And based on everything I'm hearing, it lives up to the hype and then some. Not only will this be Aerith's worst loss ever, it may well be the worst loss by anything
related to Final Fantasy VII. The biggest beatdown of a Final Fantasy
VII character, game, or series ever is Link vs Sephiroth from 2002

Hmmm... pretty solid thrashing so far, though if Aeris lowers Zelda's %
the same amount FF did to LoZ from this point on, it'll end about 55/45

Zelda is dropping like a rock.. Aeris is winning updates regularly now.
