Hey, I got jumped earlier this year for saying that Zelda > Bowser
would be one of the biggest upsets from last year that I could
reasonably see happen AND that Zelda could keep close with Ganon and
possibly win it...so you aren't the only one, though I'm not about to

Zelda > Yuna was always a lock. Although it will be interesting to see where Yuna finishes in relation to Aeris. Zelda's just dominating right now. She pulled in 59.23% (lead of 789)
and doesn't look to be slowing down any time soon. I'm both pleased and

As for the better character...Aeris was always my second favorite FFVII
character (after Yuffie, of course!), so I voted for her, but Zelda's
pretty cool too. I was always fond of her in LttP, and Sheik's a great

is Aeris. She is the lamest character in her game, and behind only the

impresses enough that I score the crew point, but not so much that it

If we were to assume Aeris 2k3 = Aeris 2k5 and last year's stats remain correct... .....if Zelda finishes with 53%, she is damn near even with Kirby. .....if Zelda finishes with 55%, she is almost equal to Bowser. .....if Zelda finishes with 57%, she is just under Sonic. .....if Zelda finishes with 59%, she'll barely be above Crono. It's worth noting that Aeris-2k3/Zelda-2k5 was expected to have Zelda get 51.33%, by the way. However, it's also worth pointing out that it looks as if Kirby and Bowser are a bit over-rated from last year. Then, if you feel Zelda can beat Ganon, being around Vincent's strength is inevitable. Solid Snake last year was also stronger than any other time we've ever
seen him, and he looked particularly impressive since 2k4 was his worst

Samus can't SFF anything. If you think she's going to SFF the namesake
of the Zelda series then you're insane, and it's nuts to think Zelda

Yeah...when you have the only 100,000-in-a-match bragging right, two
characters saying you're stronger than Mario, and currently beating
Aeris worse than Solid Snake did in 2k3 WHILE still being projected to
be stronger than Crono DESPITE any type of influx FF:AC/KH2/DoC/FF12

Zelda will do all right vs. Samus, but she's not going to win. let's see here... assuming a constant KOS-MOS and Zelda finishing with 58%: KOS-MOS 2k5: Aeris - 27.77% Zelda - 33.06% KOS-MOS 2k4: Aeris - 31.60 Zelda - 37.62 I'd guess she's somewhere in the middle there - Aeris just hasn't looked good this year. Zelda is also probably stronger, but she's not suddenly going to boost to 40% for no apparent reason, nor is she going to rSFF Samus when Ganondorf couldn't. she'll do okay, but let's be realistic. --- xyzzy |

Nah, I feel confident she'll break 40%...45% is a stretch, but it's
within her reach if the chips fall in the right places. I wouldn't
imagine her ending up any higher than that practically no matter what,
