Wait, Bowser still is at 34% Base Link even with all the talk about
being overrated? I'll take that. I mean nobody really thought that
Snake/Bowser was Bowser's true
strength right? I thought it would be naturally expected that he was
overrated a couple of percent... I'm not disappointed in his showing at

Oh man, I can't believe I missed all the fictional character contest discussion. Darth Vader, Batman, and possibly Spider-Man and Wolverine would beat Link. Pretty sure Batman would, not as much about Spider-Man and Wolverine. No offense creative, but you are so wrong. =P Any of them would be lucky to break 45% against Link on this site... very lucky. Harry Potter is the Pokemon of books...no way do I see him competing with the big boys. He could be respectable, but let's be honest -- who likes Harry *that* much, really? TONS of people. If you'd visited a bookstore or read livejournal at the time the last book was released there would be no doubt in your mind. On fanfiction.net there are 270544 Harry Potter stories vs 38824 for Lord of the Rings, which is the second highest. No offense creative, but you are so wrong. =P Any of them would be lucky to break 45% against Link on this site... very lucky. I'm totally confident that I'm actually spot on. Link is very powerful here, but these other guys would be too. Hard to say how many of them would be favorites against Link, let alone beat him, but I'd say the odds at least one of them being stronger than Link are well over 50%. As for Harry Potter, don't confuse the books with the character. The character just isn't the type to draw votes, if you know what I mean. I'd definitely take Link over any other character we might see... I'd
do it fully knowing he had a very good chance of losing, but there's no

On fanfiction.net there are 270544 Harry Potter stories vs 38824 for
Lord of the Rings, which is the second highest. Harry Potter really is
absolutely huge... this site just isn't the demographic he's popular
among, kind of like Pokemon. I'm pretty sure LOTR characters would easily beat HP characters :) I don't think there's much question that in a GameFAQs homepage popularity poll between the series, LOTR would win easily. It's more respected and more likely to get votes. It also has "cooler" characters. Harry Potter might get the "Zelda" factor that puts him ahead of the top LOTR characters, but other than that LOTR characters like Gandalf, Sauron, Aragorn, and Gollum would do well. A lot of fodder characters have been mentioned. I adore Pink and the
Brain for instance, but yeah, they'd be pretty worthless in a contest

15 minutes, making Lopen win the analyis crew by .01%, screwing over KH
who would have won otherwise if Crono were given a chance to keep

doubt. On this site, I wouldn't expect much out of the character or the books. But on a site where the books are popular, I'd expect the character to do quite well. It seems as if CjayC's script is based off 24 hour polling, not time,
so I wouldn't be surprised if we had a break after tomorrow (like we
did a couple contests back during the sweet 16) to make it even again. Also I am calling it now, Crono wins it all, including third place in the Battle Royale Clearly the Chess Bench is the factor of the year, imo. --- I felt the force of two true patriots: The Boss, who pwned Celes, and XIII, who is the superior bracketmaker!
