Maybe there'd be some way to set up a password system for the manual updater, and give it out to trustworthy stat topickers

Well the lead is still not in triple digits yet I suppose.

It seems like just as a pattern starts to emerge in this match the losing character gives us all the finger and goes off to win an update.

So, judging from previous trends this contests, and if Luigi can keep this pace up, it looks like he might win the day vote.

Granted, I wouldn't want to call anything in this match ahead of time as both have a tendency to completely weird things up.

How exactly does one "abuse" the updater? What sort of abuse can you really do to the thing?

I was rootin' for Luigi against Zero, but it ends today. Kirby's one of my favorite characters!

If Kirby wins, I hope CJay uses a spin dash for Sonic's sprite. Ball vs. Ball!

How exactly does one "abuse" the updater? What sort of abuse can you really do to the thing?

You can make it pick up lots of meaningless 2-vote changes, which makes it harder to view the actual vote trends during that time.

I've been having fun with the updater. Those occasional different time updates at random times in the past few matches are mostly my doing >_> Well, I tend to do it around 2:30 in anticipation for the after-school vote.

Not in the first 5 minutes though, that's pretty silly.

Honestly, I think the best solution would be to just disable manual updates and have it check automatically once per minute. That should catch any weirdness in Ceej's update times.
