I know this is a long time ago but Ryu almost got 43% on Solid Snake, That was 2003, where he got 54% on Dante. In 2005 he got 55% on Rikku...I'm inclined to say those were different Ryus. where both had horrible pictures (yes it is possible to make Ryu look bad) http://www.gamefaqscontests.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=4&pos=54 You are not going to tell me Ryu's sprite is even in the same GALAXY as Snake's when it comes to fugliness. --- *kills self Commit it to memory. |

And so that makes a 15 minute update that Ryu has taken against Mega
Man...and one that he not only took, but took commandingly. He didn't

That's the only hope I have right now for Aeris to win over Zelda >_> Zelda's ALttP sprite is actually very awesome. And he could use Zelda's OoT in-game "sprite" against Aeris. I'm fairly certain Zelda gets her votes from OOT and beyond. Zelda from
1 and LTTP is nothing more than Peach. if people are voting based on
pictures, Aeris wins that hands down. I don't know how you could argue
that a Zelda sprite from the old games could compete with an Aeris

Yeah. I wouldn't really trust CJayC to bother searching out for Zelda's
polygonal model from Ocarina of Time. It seems like it would be much
better suited with the picture though. Use Aeris's battle model and
some post-N64 model of Zelda to make the picture mesh together better.
Using SSBM would be awesome. And for whatever it's worth, there's supposed to be a huge blowout of new TP information right before that match takes place (impressions of the final version of the game, new screenshots, video, etc.) !! --- The Master Sword is the most sought-after blade in Hyrule. Mega Man has a strength of 42.91 against Base Link. Ryu has a strength of 29.98 against Base Link. Mega Man 65.07% 58,020 Ryu 34.93% 31,150 TOTAL VOTES 89,170 Mega Man wins with 65.07% of the vote! Megaman's strongest year Against Ryu's weakest,still not a blowout --- laff |

I know Zelda gets my votes from OoT and on...but that doesn't mean that her ALttP sprite is bad
looking. The only way I would say that Zelda gets vastly out done in
the picture is if CJayC did something stupid like using 8-bit Zelda.

Zelda is nothing more than Peach, ultimately. She just has the luxury of being named Zelda. Zelda and Peach have taken up two pretty different roles in their games. She hasn't been limited to solely a damsel-in-distress role, especially in the most popular Zelda game. It helps that she's named after the series, but she's done a lot more to be liked over Peach. Peach is well-known and not really dislikable. I like to think Zelda is both well-known and pretty likable in some of the Zelda games, OoT in particular. --- The Master Sword is the most sought-after blade in Hyrule. Peach has reason to be liked in SMB2, SMRPG, even her own game SPP...sure, it's not much, but neither is Zelda, really. I think Ryu will most probably win the kiddy votes. Buddy, you have no idea how wrong you are. And oh my goodness, Ryu is just going crazy here. eh, Zelda at least has a role in later Zelda games. she has a
personality, at least in the speed run I saw of OOT and in Wind Waker.

Ryu has won a total of eight updates and had one 50/50 update with MM earlier. Damn impressive. And here's MM's percentage at the beginning of every hour since the first hour... 1:00 -- 60.49% 2:00 -- 59.70% 3:00 -- 58.81% 4:00 -- 57.95% 5:00 -- 57.28% ...Yeah.
