| Well, I'm not the biggest Yoshi fan, but I feel
vindicated for having to deal with people making it seem crazy to take
Yoshi. I actually couldn't care less for Yoshi, but I still defended to
the end that he was underrated. I can't count the number of times that

Heh, pre-contest I was arrogant as hell toward Yoshi. Him maintaining
his proportion with Luigi clearly projected him nicely above Dante, he
was Nintendo, Dante had the potential to be overrated...if you had told
me Dante was going to put up even this much of a fight pre-contest, I
would have laughed. I had said Yoshi > Snake was more of a threat
than Dante > Yoshi from the beginning. ...yeah, I changed my mind toot sweet after the first round, huh. And I still ended up looking like an idiot. This wasn't an easy win for either, just a nice, good, close match. --- *kills self Commit it to memory. |

As confident as I was in Dante beating Yoshi with a fairly high %, I
won't say I thought Yoshi was a non-factor to win. It may not make
sense to say "Dante'll win with 57%, but Yoshi could take it", but
that's pretty much what I thought about it. I still say Dante's not out of this yet, even though Yoshi's got a bigger lead than Peach ever had. I can't count the number of times that I heard "Yoshi never looked better than Dante in any contest". Heh...yeah, I said that alot. To be fair though, even when based off of all projections save for Bowser and Luigi, Yoshi looked like he would lose to Dante-2k5 with about 46% or less...and this year marks the biggest seeding disparity between them yet as well, less than both Bowser and Luigi (odd, considering Yoshi's favorite-status in the Mario-polls, but whatever). I never said Yoshi couldn't win though, and before the contest started I said Yoshi/Dante would be the closest match in the contest. Well, no matter. I was just commenting on how they all may end up actually being close to one another this year. I know that has been brought up a couple of years ago though. However, his night vote wasn't anything particularly crazy either. He won't be close to as good as Jill's The second night vote is sorta like a mix of the first night vote and the afterschool vote, usually. At least that's how I see it. Master Chief, for example, gets dominated in the first night vote, but in the second one he does well for himself. Jill's first night vote was slightly better... but Dante's afterschool vote was much better than Jill's. I didn't really have a problem with the LUEshi topic tbh, and I think a good number of people need to lighten the hell up. | I think Luigi's next two matches (should he be involved in two) have the potential to be screwy, especially against Sonic. Who's to say whether he'll perform like Shadow did against Mario or like Yoshi did against Mega Man? Personally, I'm leaning toward the former (proxy factor, or whatever it is), but it's far from a sure thing. |

Good gravy, what a spike for Yoshi there. Fleeting thought -- if there is any cheating in this match, I'd be shocked if Yoshi weren't the heavy beneficiary of it. It's already been theorized LUE/LL proxy-voted/stuffed the hell out of Nidoran F, this is Yoshi that we're talking about. On another note, I think this match is over. God DAMN the after school
vote straight to hell, and I'd like to just beat the hell out of a good
number of the kiddies that come home and ruin all our interesting
matches. However, if Dante pulled off a comeback or something like that, it would be absolutely legendary. Most of LL's aroublemakers are banned from GameFAQs anyway, so I
wouldn't be surprised to see some stuffing. Of course, CJayC's blocked
most ways if I understand the sticky correctly, so there probably won't
be any votes taken off. If there are, like Ulti, I hope it ends with a

As an actual Yoshi fan, I want to point out that they're in love
with LUEshi not Yoshi, and the two are not synonymous. They just found
an image to put themselves in, I don't think they even care for Yoshi
himself all that much. As a long-time LUEser who basically has overseen every chapter of the LUEshi saga, I can say that's total bullcrap. If there are, like Ulti, I hope it ends with a 402 vote victory for Yoshi. Meh, Ceej won't actually make a public removal of votes unless it affects the winner of the match.
