I still fail to see how this current percentage on GF is impressive... --- Can't think of a good sig. |
transience | Posted 10/23/2006 9:42:35 PM | message detail |
I think a constant GF is a good way to judge this match. let's assume
Sora gets... 64%. that would put Sora at Luigi's level from 2k5. Sora or Luigi, who you got? --- xyzzy |

Sora --- CB5 Points: 49/52, Current Oracle placement: 22/165 Now playing: Okami |

If Sora = 2k5 Vincent and giving Freeman 37%... Wrighto is at 20.17% on 2k5 Link and 22.01% on Blink. --- "Those who cast the vote decide nothing. Those who count the vote decide everything." http://www.scorehero.com/scores.php?user=2916&diff=4 |

I figured PW v Gordon would've convinced you people that Gordon's 2005
value is a load of crap and that he's just not extrapolatable. --- Squall: "Hi, like Cloud from the last game, I am full of angst and am named after weather." - Slow Beef |

If Sora's equal to 2k5 Luigi then he's lower than Riku right now assuming Dante's constant. --- Demyx > Axel Z1mZum owned me in the Guru Contest with his mad skills! |

trannyscience | Posted 10/23/2006 11:07:14 PM | message detail | #385 oh, it's going to happen. Phoenix Wright will be the fodder line. ha-ha! I think this is proof that Freeman is just not very linear. I think Lopen first suggested this idea - the stronger Freeman's opponents are, the better he looks. he's like a mini-Master Chief, only without the antivotes. (who the heck hates Gordon Freeman?) Freeman has always looked weak as hell because he always gets really weak opponents. now that he's been up against two quality opponents, you can see that he actually does fairly well against them. give him some high fodder though and Freeman goes back to struggling. no way in hell do I take Phoenix > Terra or Phoenix > Vyse. --- xyzzy |

BOLD PREDICTION: If There is a Character Battle VI, Phoenix will make it as a 2 seed. --- Gordon Freeman finally won, but somehow, the universe survived... thus allowing me to tell said universe about how I was owned by NClark128. |
KleenexTissue50 | Posted 10/23/2006 9:49:30 PM | message detail |
Next year I'd take Phoenix over Vyse. --- CB5 Points: 49/52, Current Oracle placement: 22/165 Now playing: Okami |

Alucard 2k5 is measured through Snake/Sora, so Alucard would still smash PW. --- RIP Eddie Guerrero 1967-2005 Z1mZum made me look like Shadow Hearts in the Guru contest. |

You've got to be ****ing kidding me. Was I the LAST person to fill out
my bracket or something? I just can't catch a break and make the Top 50
here, it seems. If Kirby > Luigi and I don't get on the board, I'm gonna be uber-pissed. --- *kills self Commit it to memory. |

What? NINE THOUSAND?! Harma Kunter, did you make last-minute changes? I think that's what it goes by. (Then again, you probably know this already!) --- This was Ed Bellis. |
Karma Hunter | Posted 10/23/2006 10:05:35 PM | message detail |
I know I was changing my thing very frequently, but I could have sworn I finalized it a few days before lockdown. Then again, I could have ended up making some last minute crazy change. I haven't looked at my bracket aside from the score since the contest started, too scared. <_< lol aeris --- *kills self Commit it to memory. |

lol zero if I had stuck with Luigi on that bracket, I'd so have a great chance at winning it. on my alt! haha! --- xyzzy |

Another day, another endorsement for the Female Villain Contest. Would the chick from Battletoads make it out of round 1? She has TJF after all. --- Hispanics 1 | Whites 5 Asians 4 | Blacks 3 |
HaRRicH | Posted 10/23/2006 10:15:46 PM | message detail |
I've been content with my bracket so far, for the most part. I've only
missed matches that I felt would be 55-45 or closer, and two of the
three I've missed have been 51-49 and tighter. I can't catch all the
breaks, but I've still done well enough thus far. --- http://wemajor12.myrockinprofile.com/ Next celebrity I hope to out-rank: Adam Sandler (#1) |

"man, Sora is plummeting. GF strikes again!" ORly? I was sure Sora was equal to Vincent according to you guys half an hour ago. : D --- Can't think of a good sig. |

oh, Sora is just fine. he's still a mile ahead of where Leon Kennedy was and Leon got 35% on Mega Man. --- xyzzy |
MegaReincarnate | Posted 10/23/2006 10:27:00 PM | message detail |
My bracket died as soon as Snake beat Squall. It's a moral victory if Freeman gets Sora under 60% before the night vote is over (fat chance of that). --- Hispanics 1 | Whites 5 Asians 4 | Blacks 3 |

Considering a constant Gordon (LOL), how much would Sora have to get to get the Sora > Mega Man bandwagon going? --- By the time we localize the programs, kids don’t even know they’re from Japan any more. - 4Kids CEO Al Kahn |
transience | Posted 10/23/2006 10:29:17 PM | message detail |
Gordon Freeman (2005c) VS Mega Man (2005c) Gordon Freeman has a strength of 22.78. Mega Man has a strength of 38.79. Mega Man wins with 70.64% of the vote! A win of 35,881 with 86,934 total votes cast. (LOL) I don't know why this is so LOL-worthy. GF seems pretty constant to me. --- xyzzy |
janembaman | Posted 10/23/2006 10:31:39 PM | message detail |
GF can get 40%....was HL2 boost that strong? --- laff |
Gaddswell | Posted 10/23/2006 10:33:05 PM | message detail |
I don't know why this is so LOL-worthy. GF seems pretty constant to me. It's just that Gordon DOES seem to be like a mini-Master Chief from some of the things that were said earlier. --- By the time we localize the programs, kids don’t even know they’re from Japan any more. - 4Kids CEO Al Kahn |

It's just that Gordon DOES seem to be like a mini-Master Chief from some of the things that were said earlier. agreed, but he doesn't get antivoted like Chief does. I would think he'd perform about the same vs. Sora and Leon. --- xyzzy |

This is Gordon Freeman's year. He wins his first match, gets to
humiliate a post-KH2 Sora and will end up looking very good in the
stats. Unless Mega Man gets another terrible picture, Sora will underperform in his next match, making Gordon look not quite as good as he could have. I've seen quite a few predictions of Sora actually hitting the mid-40s, and I'm sitting here wondering how (or why) people are honestly thinking this stuff up. --- The Little Mermaid 2-Disc Platinum Edition DVD Coming October 3, 2006 |

I've seen quite a few predictions of Sora actually hitting the
mid-40s, and I'm sitting here wondering how (or why) people are
honestly thinking this stuff up. Look at what Riku has done. It's logical to assume Sora got a hefty boost from his old value. --- Currently Playing: Okami, King of Fighters 2002/2003, Gradius V |
