Dante generally does better than Yoshi in the evening. But he wasn't oustanding enough to lead by more than 35 at his absolute peak. He's got a favored night vote, but it will not be enough given the small timeframe the night vote exists in with the new start time. If Yoshi builds another 500 - 600 vote lead at the least, he'll be fine. We've already seen this before in this very match. --- The Master Sword is the most sought-after blade in Hyrule. He who wields it carries with him the hope of the kingdom. |

It's funny how both of their previous matches were on weekends so we can't really speak what their trends are this year. But, eh... Yoshi taking the morning vote advantage is probably enough evidence he'll take the after-school too. --- ertyu and VeghEsther are truly proof that there is much about this world we still do not understand. |

And Seriously, Dante's not even using his best chance to build a
lead. He's just sitting here right now, which is something he really
cannot afford to do. Exactly. Dante needs to make a move. Well there we are. Dante's night vote isn't anywhere near as good as
Jill's and his day vote isn't anywhere near as bad. All Yoshi needs to
do is build up a sizable lead -- Gee I think he's done that in this
match before -- and he'll be fine. Right, but my point is Yoshi won't be building up as big of a lead as Peach, and Dante won't have to come back as much as Jill. Should Yoshi be considered the favorite? Yeah. Should he be considered anywhere close to a lock? Hell no. LEAD CUT TO 16! --- Hooray Beer, Hooray Proxies! |

Right, but my point is Yoshi won't be building up as big of a lead

Dante could conceivably go 50/50 with the after school vote or possibly

Regardless of the result, Yoshi did damn fine in this match after it

I'm saying that it isn't always a drastic factor It usually is, especially in a close match where any factor could tip the scales in one characters favour. and that it shouldn't be assumed that it'll favor Yoshi. No, it shouldn't be, but it's likely that it will favour him. The after school vote seems to frequently favour mario characters. --- When D... A good rule of thumb for the after-school vote IMO is Halo >= Kingdom Hearts > Nintendo Nintendo isn't good to place since you range from people like Donkey Kong to, well, anyone else >_> --- ertyu and VeghEsther are truly proof that there is much about this world we still do not understand. |

I know Link did a number on Cloud with the after school vote, but
pretty uncertain of how Zelda compares to Mario. LoZ does have a pretty

| Based on past trends, the after school vote will
hit in about 90 minutes. Dante is still down. At this rate, I'd be
amazed if he mustered a lead of 300 votes. For comparison, remember
that Jill's biggest lead was 1427 (1427
oh god). While Dante will fair better than Jill during the killer after
school hours, he simply won't have enough of a cushion for it to make a
difference. He'll need a trend-busting miracle in the last few hours,

I find it very strange that Dante is consistently losing a couple of
updates in a row and then hitting back with more than he lost in just
