I don't know where the idea of Dante's vote sucking came from either...
Yoshi certainly can win it, but it's far from a lock. It would be

Yeah, and Yoshi's day vote has been SO impressive so far. I don't see how he can't win at this point. He's lead through the night -- Dante's best time -- and through the morning and now into the day. Yoshi has had a complete grip on the match from beginning to end. Dante lead for a whopping seven updates. I'm sorry if I don't have faith in Dante winning when he his biggest lead was 35 and he definitely isn't going to take the after school vote. --- The Master Sword is the most sought-after blade in Hyrule. He who wields it carries with him the hope of the kingdom. |

THAT is what everyone is expecting to give Yoshi the win. Uh, what? I think everyone knows it's the after-school vote that gives Yoshi the advantage. And most people would consider the day vote and the after-school vote synonymous on a weekday --- ertyu and VeghEsther are truly proof that there is much about this world we still do not understand. |

just like Jill/Peach except that Yoshi never gave up a big lead. Dante
will be ahead by something like 400 by the time the after school vote

He's lead through the night -- Dante's best time -- and through the

I'm sorry if I don't have faith in Dante winning when he his biggest
lead was 35 and he definitely isn't going to take the after school vote. He led through the night because Nintendo dominates the first hour and built a lead that Dante had a hard time overcoming because of low incoming votes. Honestly, Yoshi's lead from the after school vote isn't going to be something Dante can't overcome in the last 4-5 hours. term day vote for after-school vote though. There is a clear difference
in the trends between the morning, the early afternoon, and the late

Well, "day vote" is usually just used as the opposite for "night vote"
and since the early-afternoon vote is, as dragoontheguy said, mostly
just an extension of the night vote, it's not included as the day vote. But it's not like there's any official terminology or anything --- ertyu and VeghEsther are truly proof that there is much about this world we still do not understand. |

Because this match has followed the exact trends this topic was talking about! ...They have. Yoshi did the typical first hour domination, Dante did the night vote, Yoshi took the morning vote and has held onto the lead since. I have no clue why you think a tiny night vote is going to save Dante. Have you seen how much this match has favored Yoshi from beginning to end? Let me say this: Dante's lead will not be anywhere near as big as
Jill's was when the after-school vote hit. Yoshi is going to have an
opportunity to build a nice lead. And Dante wasn't exactly tearing it
up last night, either. I'm not sure he's going to have a huge edge with

Didn't stop Jill from nearly winning with it. Peaches lead was somewhere in the area of 500 vote. That isn't exactly a lot o come back from, and as I think we'd all agree, the shift between day to night vote is way more dramatic for jill then it would be for dante. Dante could still conceivably take the late afternon vote; I'm not saying he can't. It just seems much more likely for yoshi to. --- When D... anywhere near as good as Jill's and his day vote isn't anywhere near as
