Recently a mid-carders bracket(and how difficult it would be) was

Blah Yuna is so bland, I don't know what FFX-2 did for her (besides
blatant fanservice) but any contest where she can put up not one but
two triplings is a joke. Ok I'll just calm down now, male bracket in
two days, and at least the last female match shouldn't be vomit

Devil Devision 1) Dante - Easy enough 5) Sora - Can't see Yuna being strong enough to counterbalance KHII Sora 3) Tidus - Tidus has fallen off, but not by enough to lose this one 2) Master Chief - Ehh, MC may be wild, but I can't imagine him losing to a cult RPG character. Emerald Division 1) Knuckles - Easy enough 4) Rikku - They were both in the same division last year and Rikku came out a little better. Add in the fact that she's FF, and I'll give her the nod. 3) Ryu - Easy enough 2) Luigi - Mario/Sonic lite, eh? Neo-Arcadia Division 1) Zero - No problem here 4) Jill Valentine - No, Gordon is not winning this match 3) Yoshi - Hmmm...Reversing the seeding doesn't make this a better match. 2) Auron - Utter destruction Time Division 1) Magus - Blah, this match pains me. Sub-Zero deserves to win it. 4) Vivi - Frog's not strong enough. 3) Leon Kennedy - 45% on Bowser or 45% on pre-KHII Sora? Tough one, this! 2) Donkey Kong - And I'll probably regret this pick, but I really don't know what to think of Tails. 1) Dante - Sora's not quite at 46% on Vincent level yet. 3) Tidus - He'll pull it off. Trust me. 1) Knuckles - Easy enough 2) Luigi - If Zero couldn't beat him, Ryu sure ain't gonna do it. 1) Zero - No problem 2) Auron - The odd thing is that Auron probably would have been the favorite even last year, and yet people doubt Dante can beat Yoshi. 1) Magus - He's still rather strong, more than enough to take care of Vivi 3) Leon Kennedy - Yeah, he'll win this one easily. 1) Dante - Unfortunately 2) Luigi - He looks stronger this year, and he was close enough to a possibly overrated Knux last year 2) Auron - After the first round, this match should be obvious 3) Leon Kennedy - Now THIS match, I like. I'll take Leon for the upset. 1) Dante - Yeah, Luigi looks stronger, but so does Dante. My prediction(along with my comments) 1) Dante - PoP is wasted here, unfortunately I should have seeded him higer 5) Sora - tough 3) Tidus - After squall, this match is almost debatable... 2) Master Chief - Sci-fi sff? ^_^ 1) Knuckles 4) Rikku 3) Ryu 2) Luigi - this match should be interesting... 1) Zero 4) Jill Valentine -no way is jill that much weaker than Leon 3) Yoshi - didn't realize this match when i made it lol 2) Auron 1) Magus - Sub-zero should keep this within 40% 4) Vivi 3) Leon Kennedy - I'm surprised Leon is the favorite here; you could really make a case for Alucard 7) Miles 'Tails' Prower - upset ftw --- Dante - another debatable match until we see Sora this round... Tidus - once again squall's performance puts this match into question Knuckles Luigi - Luigi > Zero > Ryu Zero Auron Magus Leon - this division really is stacked as hell Dante Knuckles - another nailbiter Auron Magus - I don't believe Leon is at knuckles' level at all. At any rate, what's the official explanation forYuna doing 10% better than x-stats showed last year? Because I have a hard time Smaus was underrated THAT much. At any rate, what's the official explanation forYuna doing 10% better than x-stats showed last year? God. I hope that this isn't a sign of Cloud > Link. I like to think Zelda/Terra was a better sign -- and Twilight Princess still comes out around their match. You could point to Samus being underrated last year more than you could any kind of Kingdom Hearts Factor; we call it the GUF. You could make the argument that Link has never significantly SFF'd anyone, aside from Ganon (lol same series), he even had a hard time doing more than minimal SFF to Samus, while Mario obliterated her. You could make that argument and I would laugh in the process. Put Mario or Samus against Link today and watch what happens to them. He is an entirely different beast today than he was in 2002 and 2003, yo! Obviously Link already has a nice lead on Mario, so he'd have to do some serious rSFF, but it's possible. It is actually impossible. The chance of that happening is exactly 0%. --- "Looking good, Princess, especially from this angle!" |

There are clearly only so many people that will give a vote to Joanna
(or most other fodder), but those people are die hard and won't likely
be swayed to vote the other way. The only exception to this is when
fodder faces fodder. Don't trust the lower ranks, hardly anyone does
anyway, as they have prettyt much always been known to be unreliable. --- If this post was overly verbose, that means I tried very hard to not call you an idiot. If you mark someone for flaming/trolling, you probably deserved it. |

I'm gonna go ahead and compare this to Ryo Hazuki/Guybrush Threepwood from 2k2. Ryo scored 70% on him, yet Ryo himself is fodder. The only reason he got that high is because he was the first choice and looked slightly cooler. I'd say Yuna and Joanna are stronger than those two, but the same kinda thing applies. People don't really care about either person, but more people know Yuna than Joanna, and thus today is an overperformance. --- Gordon Freeman finally won, but somehow, the universe survived... thus allowing me to tell said universe about how I was owned by NClark128. |
