| Zelda currently has 77.28% on Terra. What does
that mean for Aeris? No chance at all? Sigh, hopefully I stay perfect

Continuing about Yoshi/Dante: I took Dante, and I'm really tempted to call him a lock but there's always the possibility that Riku really did boost that much. Still, it's very unlikely at this point. Oh and expect Luigi to outrank Yoshi this year. Yeah, Dante's got most things in his favor. The one thing Yoshi has in
his favor is he's Nintendo, which should help obviously, but I don't
think it's goin' to be enough. Dante should take it with about 52.5%,

Pac-Man? After Nintendo boost? Pac-Man boosted! It's clear that iconic characters like Mario, Luigi, and Sonic boosted the most, so Pac-Man did, as well! ...hey, prove that he didn't. The characters are where they are because of their strength, that strength includes being part of Nintendo. Suddenly in a match you're not supposed to win, you're not going to turn it around in your favor simply because you're Nintendo. And Pac-man is the most unreliable character ever. Yes, but why. Dante has shown to be
stronger than Yoshi in years past, and Dante has shown to probably
increasing again this year. And with 2 of your games selling like fire,
and another on the way, there's plenty of reason for it. Yoshi on the
other hand, has done nothing to make me think he's anywhere other than

Not sure if anyone has run these stats already, but There were a total of 2,150 Contests Stats and Discussion posts made during the 24 hours of the Peach/Jill nailbiter. That's 86.9 posts per hour, for an average of 1.49 posts every minute. Impressive though this stats activity was, it still falls short of the benchmark set by the now-infamous "Barriers Match" between Tommy and a cheating Kefka back in the Summer of '05. Man, Vincent/Kefka would be a slaughter! Meh. I still plan to use where Terra and Kerrigan land in the final stats as my most reliable info on the Devil Division last year. ...Do you realize what this means? At the moment, 2005 Terra 60/40s her 2006 value based on Zelda. Dante is the favorite, but no one should underestimate a decently
strong character who has only seen SFF losses. His win over Riku looked
weak at the time, but after Axel broke 30% against Mega Man (what the

Everything Dante has in his favor against Yoshi: --He has outranked Yoshi every year in the stats. --They were both 4-seeds in 2k3, and Dante has increasingly out-seeded Yoshi each year (4-4, 4-5, 1-3, 2-6). --Dante out-performed Yoshi against a common opponent in Ryo Hazuki. --Laharl and Pac-Man both have Yoshi around the 26.5% mark last year, while Dante managed to land around 30%, meaning Dante wins with about 55.83%... --...and Squall/Vincent/Dante/Marle have all shown this year that the Devil Division is probably not over-rated. --Dante has had DMC3:SE release and DMC2 become a Greatest Hits since last year... --...which might explain why Dante beat the hell out of Hayabusa, worse than expected at that. --Riku did rather well against Yoshi...probably all Riku, but it's still worth considering since both were barely readable last year. I think I actually wanna say Dante with 54% now. It's not all 100%-concrete evidence and it's not a lock for Dante, but the odds are NOT in Yoshi's favor. last year...but I feel safer with judgments off of them right now. I wouldn't feel safe drawing anything from Terra at all. She's dropping like CRAZY right now. If you hold Zelda constant, she's currently at 14.75% on BL, meaning Dante last year would be worth 25.92% here, about 1.5% lower than in 2004, a year where he's thought to be underrated. You end up with Squall well below his 2003 value, and you basically present a scenario where either Vincent got an INSANE boost from DoC/AC or Zelda kills Ganondorf. Yeah, either of those is really likely to happen.
