Lara's pic could be good if it had a decent background. Between Chun-Li and Lara Croft, there's gotta be something out there you could use as a good background, instead of what basically looks like TV static.

If Peach loses this match, it'll be 100% her fault. Against Kairi and Street Fighter, Claire and RE both dropped in votes all the way to the end.

And Peach having a Link/Zelda-style relationship with Mario would make her at, what...Vivi's level? Yeah, that wasn't going to happen, but that's not Peach's fault...it's that Zelda's name is ****ing Zelda.

Notice I said -esque. I didn't mean it had to be EXACT. And if Jill hasn't fallen off anymore, Peach isn't THAT far off from that ratio. Of course there are plenty of different factors in the Link/Mario and Zelda/Peach ratio argument (Zelda series name being one of them). I've mentioned that before.

Ugh, these next few match pics are terrible.

Terra is blurry, KOS-MOS has TJF over a FF7 character, Joanna is weird looking and Chun-Li looks like a chubby 10 year old boy.

By the way, RE's pattern against Kairi/SF was lose lose lose stall lose stall.... etc. Either a miracle or Peach tanking is what it'll take for Jill to win this, because all the kiddies are home.

Actually, KH and SF have proven to have strong night votes, which is the reason RE lost percentage/votes during the night. If Jill keeps stalling she has a good chance at winning.

Peach just made a nice little gain there... I think this match is just as over as it was an hour and a half ago when Peach took the lead. Jill may stall her every now and then, but she won't start eating into the lead.

Jill only needs about 20 votes/15 minute update to win...but she needs to start hitting that pace fast, or it's going to positively balloon upwards and put the match out of reach before long.

Match XXXVII: (1) Zelda vs. (4) Terra Branford

Previous Matches

Zelda
Defeated Carmen Sandiego, 86.08% - 13.92%

Terra Branford
Defeated Sarah Kerrigan, 58.69% - 41.31%

Analysis:

Last round’s biggest blowout went to Zelda who was the only character to break 85% against their opponent. Even though Carmen was an unknown character that still was an impressive job by Zelda. Terra did basically what the x-stats said, but I guess you couldn’t blame it they were in the same 4-pack to random factors were kept at a minimum.

This is round 2 of the Zelda/Aeris match and last round Zelda was the more impressive character (though both of their opponents were new). Terra has no chance at even making this match close and will be used as only as a stepping stone for the Zelda/Aeris match next round.

The only thing to really watch out for in this match is whether or not TP hype has caused Zelda to rise. I expected Ganondorf not to have gained any boost because all we really know is that he would be in the game, but for Zelda we’ve seen more about some of her roles in the game, I’m not going into detail just in case you don’t know. I don’t buy much into hype of a game that hasn’t been released unless the game is going to come out like the day after the match. If Zelda was to gain from last year I don’t think it would be by much.

Like I said this the next stepping stone to Zelda/Aeris, the only interesting match in this division and the winner would most likely win the round after that as well. Dante was able to break 70% against her so I’m expecting Zelda to do better than what Dante did.

charmander6000’s Bracket: Zelda over Terra Branford

charmander6000’s Prediction: Zelda wins, 73.18% - 26.72%
