Wow... 3 stats topics got filled up with talks about a match in the female bracket? I'm impressed. Although I can see why. These two are going exactly 50-50 after Jill gained a 1400 vote lead from a Peach lead of 400. Really, for an upset that multiple people actually took, this match got about as much debate as MC/Subby. This match had plenty of debate pre-contest, it seems like once the
contest hit everyone was so tired of saying the same things over again

Nah, I bet Peach would beat Ness easily. If Ness gets all his strength
from Smash Bros, and Peach shares that fanbase + the Mario fanbase,
then she's easily stronger than him. --- Gordon Freeman finally won, but somehow, the universe survived... thus allowing me to tell said universe about how I was owned by NClark128. |

I couldn't fathom taking Ness over Peach directly or indirectly though,
so that's probably a sign that Jill is above her 2k4 value...or that

I was always under the impression that Jill's value was underrated
because Ryu H. underperformed on Sora by virtue of getting a bad pic or

Peach is currently projected to get... 55% on Wario using adjusted 2k4

That depends on who you ask. Hayabusa got a terrible picture against
Sora, but his picture against Jill wasn't that great either. It wasn't

I'm not going to say jill has shifted in strength for better or worse,
but you should keep in mind that we haven't seen her since 2k4. A lot
of things can happen in a two year period, even without any new major

This match had plenty of debate pre-contest, it seems like once the
contest hit everyone was so tired of saying the same things over again
we haven't got all that much debate prior to controversial matches. I'd attribute this topic being dull to those that were against Peach initially but conceded that she would win did it with very little enthusiasm. Hey, I don't care for Ganondorf one whit and we debated that match to high heaven. Want to know why this match wasn't debated? Because it's Jill/Peach. I was with Peach the entire time, and thought she'd pull in 60%+ As we got closer to this match, I realized it would probably be close with a Peach victoly. TuRtLe ~~~ I used my brain and statistics to make my bracket. Karma Hunter used MGS fanboyism. KH won. Commit it to memory. |

Not only that, but it puts a lot of questions to rest. We'll have our
first clear reading on Ganondorf...ever (never mind that Twilight
Princess will make that inconsequential by the next contest <_<),
and we get to see the Devil Division's herald stack up as well. For a
guy that follows the contest stats, that's a match that you simply
