while in Jill's match against Ryu H, this is when he started his comeback.

Jill/Ryu H. was during the summer.

Nice gain for Peach there. Is it just me, or is the updator on gamefaqscontests.com taking a lot longer to update than usual?

Current Prediction - Jill Valentine vs. Princess Peach
charmander6000 | Posted 10/17/2006 8:21:04 AM | message detail
And Jill gains 20 votes back.

I'm guessing that Jill will bring it up somewhere between 800-1000, but I'm calling the match over if she breaks 1500, but if she breaks 1000 it will be unlikely for Peach to comeback.

With random fluctuations like that, its pretty impossible to tell where this lead will end before the after school vote.

The fact that Peach even is close to someone who's a maincharacter in a mainstream game is a joke.

Resident Evil is mainstream?

One would think Super Mario Brothers is way more mainstream than the relatively niche RE games (aside from 4 of course.

At any rate, Jill is diappointing me big time. I can't see Peach not completely dominating the after schoo vote. This match has been far too similar to Kairi/Claire for me to give Jill a reasonable chance.

And how would Peach have less of a day vote than Kairi? Kairi only seemed to have a great day vote because of all the antivotes at night whereas Jill has the "hardk0r3" overnight crowd.

and this match is still completely up in the air, in my opinion

Resident Evil 1 sold around 5 million copies, and that's for PS1 alone. It's later been released on PC, Saturn, DS, Gamecube and probably some other console that I'm forgetting about. Resident Evil 3 sold around 3.5 million copies for PS1 and 2 million copies for Dreamcast. Resident Evil 4 sold slightly over 3 million copies for Gamecube and PS2.

Note that these stats are from Wikipedia, so I wouldn't exactly put that high faith in them.

Based on how she did from 10 to 11, she's projected to have an 890 vote lead before 2:30

Now if you go from 10:30 to 11:30 it's 815

If you just use the last 35 minutes, it's only a 700 vote lead.

See a trend? >_<

Jill has a really odd pattern in the updates. She loses 4-5 updates by a couple of votes, only to gain a big amount in the 6th or 7th update. She's had this pattern for a couple of hours now.
