Having the word 'Samus' precede the term 'SFFs' is something I recommend you not do in the future. Unless of course, the statement is, "I'll hit myself in the balls with a ballpeen hammer if Samus SFFs Mega Man" --- *kills self* Commit it to memory. |

Terrible Thought: Megaman wins the male bracket and faces Samus.
Samus SFFs him. The female bracket looks really strong compared to the
male -_-. If MM got there, Samus would do no such thing, and I'm one of the biggest Samus supporters. --- I love bananas. |

Zelda over Tifa? Yeah, but it would be close either way... considering
I don't really buy into the whole KH2F, and Tifa's role wasn't all that

Are these FFDragon pictures hosted on any other web site? Oh, and umm. . . I would have a difficult time choosing between Zelda and Tifa. Only because 2k2 was so unreliable in general. Exactly. If things had stayed relatively normal with all the other characters, I would say fair game, but when you have tons of other crazy and wacky stuff happening from 2K2 to 2K3 when the characters in question don't involve anything Square, it's kind of hard for me to believe KH is the reason for it. Especially for characters who had nothing more than ridiculously small cameos. --- I love bananas. |

Not when you look at the fact that other people have random boosts and drops in 2K3 from 2K2, that aren't square. 2K2 was a completely different contest, half the vote totals, the voter pool was just different. And if he DID, that means Mario would have been a lot stronger than 2K2 stats imply, and his dropoff in 2K3 would be pretty substantial. Squall, Cloud, Sephiroth, and Aeris all increased, but Snake, Dante, Lara*, and Crash did as well. Aeris's performance on Sonic, while partly due to her increase was mostly Sonic dropping. Aeris would only do around 2% better on Snake than she did in 2002. I'm sure Kingdom Hearts boosted these characters somewhat, which is why they boosted more than than the last three mentioned, but there were plenty of Playstation casual friendly characters who boosted in 2003. It would make sense for the FF characters to boost so much, since GameFAQS was more RPG and Square oriented back then, so an increase in casual voters would be far more likely to affect new-school Square characters than anyone else. That being said, Squall out of all of them had a reason to boost besides a cameo. A lot of people who disliked Squall in FFVIII really liked him in Kingdom Hearts, and I imagine that helped him a lot with his popularity. Dante had DMC2, Snake's boost is minimal and well within the bounds of random variation, Lara overperformed on Zelda thanks to the movie being on the weekend of the match and Crash was lucky enough to not run smack-dab into Sephiroth in 2003. --- *kills self* Commit it to memory. |

...actually, thinking of Link boosting in 2003 that doesn't make a lot
