| I don't see how anyone can deny the picture affected Snake/Frog in a big way. We have evidence on both sides now, with Link/Magus suggesting CT characters overperform with sprites and Bowser/Snake suggesting Snake underperforms with his sprites. It's not like this is just a wild guess. I also don't agree with "momentum" having anything to do with this contest. |

Too bad your face, KH!!! But yeah, it's really hard to trust Bowser's 2005 number after this, even factoring in a Leon boost. I think it was an 8% boost by Leon if Bowser is not overrated. --- - Why the hell did I bet against a character as deep, awesome and badass as Lara Croft, instead favouring a character from something as lame as HL2? Forgive me, XIII. |

Assuming Bowser finishes with 56%... If Bowser wasn't overrated at all and/or hasn't dropped since 2k5 (characters can drop, y'know...), Leon boosted around 4.5% on BL, putting him around Zero 2k5's level (what a coinkidink). If Leon didn't boost at all, Bowser drops around 5% on BL, putting him at Luigi 2k5's level. ...I'm not keen on buying either explanation. --- *kills self* Commit it to memory. |

Hrm...Bowser does poorly, affecting Rikku for the worse, and Leon
Kennedy and the KH2 gang do well, perhaps making Kairi and Claire
Redfield look better. And, maybe Kairi is a little above Axel. Finally,
take away Rikku's TJF (er, if it effects any character as of late, it'd
be Rikku) she had in her past matches. Kairi vs. Rikku will be the
Pokemon/Metroid of the tournament. Of course, nobody will believe it,
since...well, obviously it wouldn't so shocking if somebody believed it! Oh, and for that matter, since Chun Li gets effected by a possibly overrated Bowser, that makes Lara Croft, couple with her new hit, do that much better. Kairi gets 45+% on Rikku! 8%? Hardly. It's a 5% boost, aka Leon = Knux 2K5. Or I can believe what
I believed prior to this match, which got me dead on. It's a combo of
Bowser being overrated, and Leon boosting. --- mmm feel the vibration baby |

Why is Bowser going to have a close match with Luigi now? Because GameFAQs is slowly but surely coming to its senses! Watch out! Luigi to break the Noble Nine in 2007! there really isn't a Bowser > Crono bandwagon. Heroic Mario is just loud. So Leon is at or around 30%. That's awesome. Bowser in the low-mid 30's though, not so much. with all of this craziness of where Bowser and Leon lie in relation to
everyone else going around, i'm still surprised that Bowser really
isn't getting a day vote. WTF!?! i guess Dekar was right about that one

it seems to be overnight. I haven't looked at it that closely, but I recall that being the only time he really beat on Kirby. So I come home and this match is exactly where it was when I left.
Either Leon has a pretty good day vote or Bowser's on Ganondorf's level
with it. I was expecting Bowser to push for around 57% with the after
school vote, too. --- That... was her final mission. And like a true soldier, she saw it through to the end. ZSB [aX] |

Wait. Is Sir Auron Heroic Mario? Yes. That's what I figured...my "I think I'm debating with Heroic Mario" Sense started going off :) Regarding this match though, I really don't get how a semi-generic gun toting guy like Leon is able to hang so well with the iconicness that is Bowser. He's freaking royalty, both video game royalty and continuity royalty as the Koopa King...he's a fire-breathing Turtlesaurus Rex! Y'know, you can easily classify Snake as a 'semi-generic gun-toting
guy' as well...Leon definitely does a lot of things to distinguish

Between the insane **** he pulls in RE4 (the laser corridor immediately
comes to mind) and his awesomely cornball lines that he's always quick
to make at the drop of a hat, I wouldn't call Leon boring at all. Sure,
