The best chance of a Noble Nine ruination will probably happen when the
next-gen systems are firmly established. That depends on whether or

Interestingly, at about 11171 votes into the Link/Cloud match, Cloud was winning by 103 votes. If Ganon finishes with 52.5%, and my 1% boost for DoC is correct, that would put Ganon at exactly what Sonic is projected to get on Vincent last year. --- Hooray Beer, Hooray Proxies! |

| I think the winner would need to have some
separation -- let's say about 52% or more -- for people to believe that

| 50/50 would make a victory over sonic farfetched,
since that would make at least two characters above at least one noble
nine character (a noble niner who is unlikely to be the weakest of the
nine no less). If this goes 50/50 until the day though, 52.5%+ wouldn't
be entirely out of the question for ganon, albeit unlikely. --- When D... I'd be able to finish this sig if Z1mZum didn't own me so hard in the guru contest. Congrats on your victory! |

Except that LttP being an older Zelda game would give it a stronger night vote and a weaker day vote, or so I'd assume. Nice update for Ganon there, bringing vincents lead back down to single
digits. Vincent needs to take off in the next hour or two or I don't
see him winning... unless his voting patterns somehow shifted
dramatically from last year to this year for him. Since I don't think
his fanbase has changed in terms of what kinds of gamers like him, I
doubt it has,even if he is stronger this year (which he should be, even
if just marginally). --- When D... I'd be able to finish this sig if Z1mZum didn't own me so hard in the guru contest. Congrats on your victory! |

And here's my lovely bit that I came up with before this match and told to Draco on AIM in relation to Ganon! Okay -- we all know that Auron got about 32% or so on Sephiroth in 2004, right? But I would hope we all also know that that was a Square/Square match with potential SFF. Don't believe it? Fine by me! We also know that Sephiroth went on later to face Cloud. Sephiroth dips from his 2003 value in 2004 and rises back up to his 2003 value in 2005. Despite the initial claims of no SFF or whatever, it's pretty evident to me that Sephiroth, in fact, never left his 2003 strength. Now, what does this mean for Ganon? Lots o' things! (HOLY CRAP ON A STICK GANON WITH THE GAIN!) For starters, if we raise Sephiroth up to his 2003 value in 2004 we get around a 4% increase for him. Now when you adjust Auron based upon that, he jumps up to around 33% on BL. You translate that over in 2005 and it puts Ganon at approximately Bowser's level, a little higher or little lower.
