Assuming a constant Sonic and giving Ganondorf the percentage he's
projected on CATS in the VC, this looks pretty bad for Ganondorf as
well. Of course, that was Face CATS while this is what is now dubbed as 'Hybrid CATS'...but does it make *that* much of a difference? --- *kills self* Commit it to memory. |

I think the key is that the face is visible and recognizable. I don't see why it would make a difference in his performance. Speaking of which... And the more I think about it, the more I think Vincent has every chance to take the match tomorrow. For all we know, Ganondorf is the next Magus. 1 massive overperformance followed by unreliable losses = perfect formula for an overrated bust. Ganon could be an overrated bust...but that would max out the
"overrated bust" quota(tm) for this contest, and I want that title to

far the most impressive thing Ganondorf has ever done, I'll wager. But

For all we know, Auron might have been overrated as well. "But he performed better on Scorpion than Zero!!!" But who's to say Zero isn't overrated either? Also, time for a BOLD PREDICTION! If Vincent beats Ganondorf and Sonic, he will take his division the second year in a row before jobbing to Crono again, but the difference will be much closer this time around. I dunno, until today it seemed obvious to me that Ganny would take
Vincent down, but after thinking about it, what if Vincent's value on
Crono was legit, and he does get a significant enough boost from AC,
DoC and, god-forbid, KH2 to beat Sonic? lol whacky upset predictions So my question to you guys would be how much does Ganon/Vincent need to score tomorrow to consider them a viable upset pick against Sonic? It's those Nintendo/Square rivalries that really get the blood boiling
and the vote swings happening. Well, we need one great rivalry to replace Mario/Crono, anyway. 2005 all but exhausted the concept. Crono made it very close twice then gave Mario a relative thrashing, closely followed by Mario giving Crono a relative thrashing. It's done, over, now. Mario has shot out of Crono's league. So what should replace the rivalry? If Crono beats Sonic (lololololol) and gets to Samus, we could maybe get something going there... I would say that Ganny needs to score +57%, assuming that Vincent is a little stronger than Tifa and that Sonic has boosted.. Vinnie needs to score around 60% I think.... I'm not sure how Sonic would do on Ganondorf. --- Supporter of Alucard. |

Sonic is doing well enough Sub Zero should be throw out and immediately
replaced with Knuckles. Although for all I care you can replace that

Snake/Squall and Sonic/Ganon/Vincent are getting debated, but
Crono/Bowser is left high and dry. Just like last year, I think Bowser
has the best chance to break the Noble 9. He has an advantage over

And I'm really hoping Vincent beats Ganon. Not only is it a point for
my bracket, but it could firmly prove either way the results of
Sonic/Crono. I mean, Vince could have rSFFed Crono...but even if he did, I believe the boosts he will get put him to that level anyway, or thereabouts. Replace Subby with Knux or Frog. Both of them and Master Chief always seem to have entertaining matches, and it would kick ass to see Round 1 end with a 6 vote lead for Frog.
