Dont worry, Snake will defeat Squall no problem. Every year in each
contest, some people jump on a bandwagon that thinks such and such

You can't call this performance all that terrible. It is a KH character

I just browsed through the topic now, and I have to say I'm still
dumbfounded at people leaving Auron off of the "near-elite" character
lists. This is a character that would have easily cracked 30% in the
X-Stats during each of the last three contests were it not for SFF, and
he's posted victories that are either equal to or greater than the ones
that some of the other so-called near-elites have had. If he gets any
sort of boost out of KH2, he's going to be a beast this year; I don't
think Crono's in reach, but 45%+ on him isn't out of the question. If
nothing else, maybe Auron will get a little more respect after he

the stats topic looks at every possible upset: Squall > Snake, Cloud
> Link, Bowser > Crono and who knows what else. I don't believe
there's a single stats topic regular that took Squall > Snake and

I'd hardly consider myself a Squall fanboy
as compared to Snake, but I was saying even before that matchup with
Tidus that he had a shot at Snake, even if I thought it was small. Whining and complaining about some phantom bias makes you look just as bad as Smurf and the like, Lowen. --- *kills self* Commit it to memory. |

I still don't see why people put any
stock into Squall/Tidus. Tidus may be liked by enough of the Square
fanbase to have decent strength, but do you think those fans like him
better than one of the cooler, more preferred FF heroes? Auron would
probably beat Tidus just as badly... and seeing what Cloud did to
Squall, I would hate to see how Tidus would look against him.
It was Tidus's first matchup against a Square character. He probably

and besides.. Snake (2005c) VS Squall (2005c) Snake has a strength of 36.97. Squall has a strength of 35.16. Snake wins with 52.45% of the vote! A win of 4,608 with 94,130 total votes cast. factor in a possible KH2 boost and I don't know what you're complaining about. as KH said, there's no hidden bias against any characters that the stats topic is unified on. we have a couple of "fanboys", but we pretty much disregard them when they're talking about something crazy. --- xyzzy "12 percent of those who liked opera had experimented with magic mushrooms." - Reuters |

Meh, I don't think it will be that close. Not to mention 2002, but I
see Squall...flopping in a sense against Snake. Maybe PS SFF or
something. I can see Squall maybe being able to hit 45%, but something

I doubt it. I don't really buy that Snake/Squall SFF in 2k2. Squall did
so bad because.... it was 2k2. Seriously, how much stock do you want to
put in that contest? It was the 16th match ever in a character battle
and Snake came in as a 2 seed vs. 15-seed Squall, who had zip going for
