Sonic definitely needs to watch out for Vincent, much more than he does
Ganondorf. Vincent has more reason to boost, and if his old number was
legit, anything can happen. Meanwhile, no matter how you swing the
stats, Sonic significantly outdid Ganondorf on Diablo. With TP it was
much more or a threat, but now he's been significantly diminished. This isn't to say Ganondorf can't beat Vincent -- far from it -- it's just that Vincent's range is much higher. --- *kills self* Commit it to memory. |

I don't think Squall has much of a shot at Snake, to be honest. This
year's Snake might be the strongest one we've ever seen in these
contests and he's already comfortably ahead of Squall. I don't think

I don't think Squall has much of a shot at Snake, to be honest. This
year's Snake might be the strongest one we've ever seen in these

We have Noble Nine murmurs of an upset every year. Even in 2004 you had
a fair amount of people taking Frog to beat Snake and Ryu to beat Sonic. The Noble Nine are frankly the safest they've been in a long time. --- *kills self* Commit it to memory. |

Good, I was worried that everyone was seeing something that threatens the Noble Niners that I was missing. The only way I can see Vincent taking his division is if his 2k5 value against Crono was legit, and he has boosted significantly with KH2 and DoC TuRtLe ~~~ I used my brain and statistics to make my bracket. Wow, Axel is really impressing. I was expecting to see a tripling, and
thought there was the chance that he might get blown out... but he's
exceeding my expectations. This makes me feel a lot
better about having taken Claire. Although this just may be a one-time

I'm still catching up from the last topic, but I just wanted to say
that Axel is probably the first REALLY popular Square villain since
Sephiroth (i.e. core fanbase plus casual appeal) so this shouldn't be surprising at all. Square hasn't totally
fallen off the map. The Organization XIII craze following the release
of KH2 should have been an indicator of this performance. Too bad they
only lasted 2 games. Square finally had a good thing going for

I like how five characters are above Bowser and in a completely lower TIER than Snake after the big man went 50/50 with him. Man, Noble Nine is quite a psychological barrier. --- *kills self* Commit it to memory. |

Too bad they only lasted 2 games. Square finally had a good thing going for themselves. They really did though! Kingdom Hearts II opened so much better than it ended. Everything really shouldn't have been as resolved as it was; there was so much potential to keep that story going. --- Revenge is a dish best served by Z1mZum in the 2k6 Series Guru Contest. |
