Also, while I'm here, did I miss where Sora/Alucard/Agent 47 were last
year assuming Kratos and Ryu were constant...or has that just not been

Like I said, I don't have much faith in Axel, so this is quite a
surprising performance. Like I said, getting 30% or so gets me very
antsy for either BIG things from KH2 or Snake finally getting over that
hump once and for all. But remember, people -- people were calling for Mega Man's head against frigging Yoshi after his supposed 'underperformance' against Leon Kennedy. Yeah, don't read too far into this. I expected Axel to be super weak, but that could easily be wrong (and I'd be SO happy if it were). --- *kills self* Commit it to memory. |

Although after what you saw out of Gordon, does anyone think that
Leon's going to fail to live up to expectations against Bowser? Heh, if
he fluked that performance on Mega Man the Koopa King might end up

This isn't an across the board increase for Square characters or anything. And if Mega Man is static from last year, this percentage right now
that Axel has puts him around 21.66% on BL, which is right underneath

There's really not too many matches that KH2 would have a solid
effect on. This isn't an across the board increase for Square
characters or anything. The people involved in KH2 have such cut and
dry paths that the best one could hope for is characters in KH2

I'm not too worried about Aeris simply because Zelda looked mighty impressive in her first round match!! It may have been against Carmen Sandiego, but Zelda put the biggest blowout of the contest so far and 100,000 individual votes all on a weekday! Zelda looked mighty damn impressive against Vivi, too. Yet even with
one of the biggest picture advantages against Snake we've seen -- and
seeing as how it's Snake we're talking about, that's notable -- she
still lost hard. I'd expect Zelda to be a bit overrated in 2005 before
anything else. She'd need another boost for me to give her a clear edge against Aeris, and blowing out Carmen Sandiego ain't exactly going to fill me with dread. We all know that ZELDA is a good vote draw anyway. --- *kills self* Commit it to memory. |

Cloud (2003c) VS Link (2003c) Cloud has a strength of 51.61. Link has a strength of 50.00. Cloud wins with 51.56% of the vote! A win of 3,189 with 102,215 total votes cast. All this match tells me is that Axel is complete fodder, KH2 has had a

Child Zelda is so inferior to Melee Zelda that it isn't even funny. That picture looks like Snake had battery acid poured over his face. I
don't care if it's Child Zelda or CD-i Zelda, it's a huge advantage

It's too bad that all the Kingdom Hearts II characters (and Squall/Auron), have paths that are pretty much set in stone. Ha! Looking at this match, you had better watch out for Squall! Snake is goin' down! Seriously though, the Kingdom Hearts after-school vote is something else. Axel is routinely getting 32-35% updates right now, and he's just breezed past 28% here. He's already around 22% on BL as it is, and he's going up quickly. For somebody who's going to draw his strength primarily from KHII, this says good things about the potential effect this game will have on the contest. All this match tells me is that Axel is complete fodder, KH2 has had a big impact ...How can this match tell you both of those things at the same time? Of course as most people know this doesn't say very much about Mega Man yet. But it's good for Axel. Sora's looking fairly likely to break 40% on Mega Man. This says nothing whatsoever about Mega Man. People, namely certain morons who have been trolling KH2 and fans since the release day, are just underestimating how popular that game really is. I have an FAQ posted for that game; I'd like to think I know more about the game and its popularity more than everyone else in this topic. I'm the only one you have to worry about pleasing, and I am well pleased! Either way, I'm definitely looking forward to Snake/Squall. I'll be curious to see exactly how much non-KH-exclusive characters do here. Knux > Sora > Chief. Halo has lost steam for whatever reason. It has? Since when? We really haven't gotten a chance to see it all that much. Halo the Series had one match, and Cortana is surely no Master Chief, and she still did okay for herself. Possibly SFF'd Isaac is at 18.72%, and CoM is somewhat more popular
