I predict that one of two things will happen in Kairi Vs. Rikku. Rikku will SFF her hard OR Kairi will inexplicably rSFF Rikku and make the match close. Why? Anomalies always come in groups and since Claire's already behind one in 2002, there'll have to be another one, just so we can have no idea how popular she is. Aeris SFFed Sora, and Aeris couldn't even SFF Marle (much?), so I
couldn't possibly seeing Kairi rSFFing Rikku. Resisting it just might
be possible, though. --- Sign the Petition for more stats in the GameFAQs Contests here: http://boards.gamefaqs.com/gfaqs/genmessage.php?board=7&topic=30693799 |

Christ, for a contest that the cookie-cutter has just been breezing through, perfects are dropping like flies. There's actually a record number of perfects left. 1.33% of all brackets are perfect right now. At this point in 2k5 only 0.302% were perfect. Even in the Summer 2004 contest, only 0.831% of brackets were perfect at this point. --- I got pwnt by Z1mZum in the July 2006 Guru Contest. Support Toadette for the Summer 2006 Contest! |

hmm, looks like that 58% was a false alarm. with
the night vote kicking in, Ryu may actually gain a little bit instead
of falling under 60%. Rikku was doing a little bit better at this point of the match than Kratos is (well, three hours later, but :50 in). Kratos might have a better day vote though. Ryu's lead dropped until about noon and then it stayed completely still for the last twelve hours of the poll. I guess we should keep an eye on the morning vote for Ryu's inevitable decline. Ryu actually took the day vote against Bowser too.. though Bowser seems kind of upside-down to what you'd expect out of a Nintendo character. anyway, I guess Ryu's day vote is actually decent and WC? was right, it's that brutal morning vote that kills him. does anyone else have a vote like that? --- Query "Results" failed: You have an error in your SQL syntax. not everything survived though. That's part of the fun. Ryu won the day vote? *checks* I suppose so, but it was more because
Bowser was so amazingly dominant with the morning/early day vote,
though, and Ryu still did much better in the night. Nintendo characters
are just incredible in the morning. --- Sign the Petition for more stats in the GameFAQs Contests here: http://boards.gamefaqs.com/gfaqs/genmessage.php?board=7&topic=30693799 |

well, remember Bowser / Kirby? the only reason Bowser won that match
was the lead he built up overnight. everything else was Kirby stalling

One thing that I've always found interesting about Bowser: no matter
who he's facing, he's always lost the second night-vote. It never
mattered who he's facing, he's going to allow his opponent a chance to
look better. He's like the Donkey Kong of the night..... --- Z1mZum performed a hit and run on me in the Guru Contest. It still hurts to be rear-ended like that..... |
