I was bored, so I decided to predict the Best. Series. Ever. bracket if GameFAQs were a Japanese site. It's led to some...interesting results. There were only three matches I even had to think about; one was GTA/Warcraft, since both are Western series. Apparently GTA has a cult following in Japan, though, so I'm leaning towards it. Hell, have any Wacraft games even been released in Japan? The second was Street Fighter/RE. Neither are Square or Nintendo, both are Japanese, and neither are RPG series. Ultimately, I took RE simply because SF hasn't done anything significant lately. The third was Zelda/Pokemon. Only FF and Dragon Quest are more popular than Pokemon in Japan. Did you see those Diamond/Pearl sales figures? A coin flip of a match, since one or the other is going to be SFFed hardcore. Heh, as expected, this match had the most votes in the opening 5 minutes than any other match. Even the first match of the contest when everyone was waiting for it in anticipation of the first match --- ertyu and VeghEsther are truly proof that there is much about this world we still do not understand. |

And I'm saying this again. Considering there are so many bracket voters
on this board, and that Gordon is a board fad, I would be surprised to
see Gordon really run with this thing. PW did have the board vote
