| Tifa or Aeris have the female half of the brackets locked. I think Crono's fixin' to win this year as he's always coming SO close. He'll just get beat in the post torunament matches. |

| that match (Riku/Yoshi) is only interesting if
Yoshi gets exposed. Riku is not going to rise up to ~30% with KH2.
we've never had a good read on Yoshi, so it's possible he could flop.
but otherwise, no way does Riku have a good chance in that match. it's
a nice pick for a possible Knuckles/Magus match, but that's about all.

Hilarious. If Chun-Li beat Kasumi with 70%, then Gordon 2K5 is supposed
to beat Kasumi with 67.18%. Gordon once lost to TINA ARMSTRONG with

I'm thinking this is part Kasumi, but that this is also part Chun Li.

Try Pikachu instead of Ms. Pac-Man if you want. Being known isn't

yeah, Ms. Pac Man beats Laharl too. Laharl loses to pretty much
anything that's known, assuming they aren't disliked. Kasumi is pretty
well-known (for fodder, anyway) and seems to be well-liked. hell, go do

Meh...I still can't decide if there's SFF here. Kasumi will probably
end up at about the same level as Ivy come the final x-stats. But, it's
still kinda hard to imagine Kasumi being that weak. Jin did alright
last year (considering expectations), however. Why have fighting game characters seemed to fall off so badly, bar Street Fighter characters somewhat? Truthfully, I think Ivy also would've done a lot better if we were in the same situation as 2K2 (and pretending SC2 was out). We haven't seen Scorpion in a couple years...I wonder if Sub-Zero is fodder now? Pac-Man is almost undoubtedly an anomaly, and Fisher and Lara very well
could be too. I agree that well-known doesn't always mean much...but
when you have somebody well-known like (Ms.) Pac-Man, Lara Croft,
probably Pikachu (anti-votes worry me a lil), and other such well-known
and somewhat-liked characters face cult uber-fodder, it's simply all
but bound to show them be more impressive than if they were facing Mega
Man, Yoshi, Samus, or Cloud. Not just because they'd win instead of
lose, either -- I mean if you were to judge them off of the uber-fodder

Sub-Zero wouldn't suffer from the relative obscurity that Kasumi does. There are 3 fighting games that are popular on this site. Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat and Tekken. TuRtLe ~~~ I used my brain and statistics to make my bracket. Karma Hunter used MGS fanboyism. KH won. Commit it to memory. |

Right now, Kasumi's at 28.66%. If Kasumi = Ivy, Chun-Li gets 41.56% on
Tifa this year. Considering last year Chun-Li was expected to get 37.1%
on a pre-KH2/FF:AC Tifa, I'm not buying that. I'll wait to see how the day-vote goes for now though..... --- Z1mZum performed a hit and run on me in the Guru Contest. It still hurts to be rear-ended like that..... |

Tekken? Soul Calibur managed to get into the series contest... Mortal Kombat couldn't do that ;>_> Street Fighter > Soul Calibur > Mortal Kombat on this site, probably. On unadjusted Yuna if that Chun-Li/Tifa comparison holds true and Tifa
2k5 = 2k6, Chun-Li gets 61.03% on Yuna. Essentially, that says Samus
would have to be right on par with Mario for Yuna to go 50/50 with
