This is also a good indicator of how well Nightmare would do. Nightmare
would likely be stronger than Ivy (like 2-4% stronger), meaning

This match is already ahead of Samus/Nidoran F by 600 votes, so it looks like we may have a new top vote grabber. That could be because kids and teens who normally vote after school are voting when they wake up. I'd think Nightmare > Jin. Soul Calibur has always had a bigger
presence on this site than Tekken. It's a shame we could get an SC
character into this back in 2k4, back when the series was still riding

I expect to see Soul Calibur 4 this gen sometime (using the Wii

Sorry if I dislike when people throw out guarantees about an
in-doubt match. Neither side of this had any reason to guarantee crap
beforehand. But that's still no reason to be just as obnoxious, if not moreso, than they were. Call somebody out, fine, but don't be obnoxious about it. Anyway...Wow, Kairi ended up winning pretty comfortably. I saw that final margin, and I was rather surprised. Tifa's doing right about what I expected. I figure she'll maintain the tripling, perhaps a little above or below. I expected the vote totals to be a little more front-loaded because it's the weekend, so yeah, expect a slowdown in the second half. Based on SC2K5 Tifa, Ivy Valentine currently stands at 15.61% on BL (meaning Jin wins with 57.51% in a head-to-head match), barely above Wesker. Of course, this isn't taking into consideration any Advent Children/KHII boost. Either way, two characters that were involved in KHII are looking mighty impressive so far. And for those who were talking about an Ivy/Lenneth match earlier, based on 2005 Rikku, Lenneth is at 13.28% on BL, meaning she gets 42.54% on Ivy. --- "...And then they made me their chief." - Captain Jack Sparrow |

while it's not a flattering one of Celes, it's from perhaps the most

Ah, fair enough. I'm still thinkin' about a Nidoran/Ivy match. If Ivy wins that, Tifa's getting 39% or more on Samus... ...but, since Tifa-2k5 is expected to get 39% on Samus-2k4, Tifa should do a good deal better than that now that KH2 and FF:AC is out. Well, it's not like Tifa's a main character. She only does barely
something in the beginning, and then she just stands in town. I
wouldn't count on her being more important than me. Then again, no one

Tifa is involved in the storyline behind the Sephiroth fight, which is
one of the bigger things about KHII, even if it is optional (didn't
matter back in 2003!). Plus, she fights alongside you during the

I'm still thinkin' about a Nidoran/Ivy match. If Ivy wins that, Tifa's getting 39% or more on Samus... Right now, just strictly going by 2k5 adjusted stats, Ivy is currently a bit above Wesker. At the 15:00 mark, this match has 85770 votes. To compare with other matches at the same time: Final Fantasy/Diablo - 84833 Zelda/Mega Man X - 88213 Castlevania/Kingdom Hearts - 88268 Sonic/Smash Brothers - 83327 Wow, talk about a vote spike on the weekend. This is looking like a 125,000+ match. If this is what we can expect from weekend matches, I wonder what The Boss/Celes will manage.
