I've been up since 5 watching this match.

I've been up since the moment it started. And plan to be there until the moment it finishes (its a friggin weekend), unless and until Kairi shows up with like +2000 vote boost from the pedophiles.

At this rate Claire should take the lead just before school is let out, what happens next well I don't know.

Fun match, but.... probably not. No match featuring anything related to Kingdom Hearts has EVER seen the KH entrant's percentage go down while the sun is up. Claire is doing this because of school being in.

Or does everyone forget this infamous voting pattern already? http://www.gamefaqscontests.com/drupal/node/22?matchnum=1626

Soul Calibur had a 700 vote lead until school got out. It was gone less than 3 hours later, and KH went on to win by almost 1100 votes. Unless Claire goes berserk and builds a 2000 vote lead for herself or something, the after school vote is probably going to waste her.

I'm CarlosY2Jericho there, and have been bumping the thread up but it doesn't seem to help much. Just 50 views, out of which half say they voted of Kairi because, well, Gamefaqs Heat.

so basically, Claire has a little over 5 hours to build up a commanding lead before Kairi SHOULD take off a little bit.

hang in there, Kairi!!

It's also worth noting that KH and SC were ~100 votes apart at this time; SC build a nice lead for itself during school hours.

So if this up "normally", hm.... let's just say that Claire wins 15 votes every 5 minutes for 5 hours. That's 900 votes, which amounts to a ~600 vote lead. She needs more than that.

20 * 60 = 1200

That's roughly a 1000 vote lead before school gets out. Claire could win with that.

Does anyone find it amusing that the match that both sides happen so confident with ends up being extremely close?

Also, for what it's worth (despite the afterschool vote today), I think Claire is doing better here than Tidus was doing against Ganondorf, and with Ganondorf's surpreme day vote he only ended up with 50.68%.

Remember this, though: KH has pulled through from behind in two close matches, already. Kairi hasn't even fallen behind.
