That was a fairly nice cut there. And here I was thinking she wasn't

Only been two updates so far. She could tear right in again 5-10
minutes from now or it could be an anomaly. We'll have to wait and see.

I still don't count Claire out entirely
yet. Yes, Kingdom Hearts has an infamous day vote... but RE isn't
really that bad with it either, and crazier stuff has happened as far
